The only flying brick character Thanos probably rather avoid because it'd take effort to swat would be Gladiator, as rather than fight him he teleported him across the galaxy to buy ~8 miuntes to make an escape. Stormbreaker was a weapon capable of killing Thanos, like a man with a Rifle can kill a bear. It doesn't make them equal. On topic, I think even the movie Superman could beat MCU Thanos. Superman is clearly positioned to be a tier above your typical super earth character since he has the rest of the justice league to compare to. Im fairly sure Thor (from Infinity War) can solo Thanos. As he practically did until Thanos retreated.
