Also I read the full 9000+ character writeup. I dont play Blizzard games much but I was entertained of how it was written.

I will agree that I never understood how people can level in MMOs it gets so boring quickly. Apparently the fun is at end level but whats the point when lots of the 'story' is doing repetitive boring ass fetch quests and walking to places?

To be honest, there's no point worrying about weapon durability because the moment you drop off the Great Plateau, you're swarmed with items. People complained about the "your wallet is full, so let's put it back" notifications in Twilight Princess, but I've had several times more "Your inventory is full." notifications in BotW when trying to pick up shields/weapons than I did those TP notifications, or even the Skyward Sword notifications with item descriptions for items you've already collected. That's how often the game throws stuff at you to prevent weapon durability from ever being an issue. It's not even an issue in Master Mode where enemies get health regen and are all upgraded by one tier at the start of the game, at least it wasn't for me.

So if I go ham on destroying enemy in sight, as long as I'm constantly picking up stuff I'll be good?

Also, as lackluster as Ike's strength is, he's the only Fire Emblem character who's actually reasonably well-liked outside the Fire Emblem fanbase, which is probably why he's distinctly ahead of Lucina despite less popular games.

Doesn't help Lucina's game is on a handheld. Unless you're Pokemon, your main game being on a handheld is a huge minus for your strength on this site.

Granted it still helps, on average if he says a game is good you can assume it sucks and if he says its good you can assume its bad. There are some exceptions to this (smash ultimate) but ulti is still useful.

That's easy to say in hindsight.

It's actually extremely easy to say every leak is "fake" when you first read up on them. Because 99.99% of them are completely and totally wrong and thinking everything is fake is better than hyping yourself up only to be disappointed that nothing was true for the 10th time that week.

well ok Luigi might be a little closer since he was decently close to Tifa but... I don't know, it really feels like Luigi should be closer to a Zelda-like presence than he is. I don't really "get" why he isn't stronger

Luigi has way less games he has his name in, he's flat out not choosable in games like Mario 64 and Sunshine, has to be unlocked way later in Galaxy, etc

Basically outside the 2D games where you dont even need to play as Luigi to beat the game it's pretty easy to see why.

Plus maybe some people don't care for Luigi being the cowardly weird brother these days
