My favorite part is definitely the environments. I never played origins and it was like 8 bucks and honestly, to me that's worth it to be able to run around a recreated ancient Egypt alone. I'm playing it for the first time today (and probably taking it to bar trivia on my steamdeck).

Like in relation to Jamie, that scene where Tyrion is guessing things about the others and when he guesses that Brienne is a virgin, she acts embarrassed like she's a teenage boy in an American Pie movie. She's a highborne woman, she's supposed to be a virgin.

Cringiest scene. The only good thing in that episode was the Florence + the Machine Jenny of Oldstones song.

I mean, Ubisoft is just a straight up horrible company and makes bland open world games. But when the AC games are like $5-$9 on steam/psn, I usually grab them and they give me a decent amount of entertainment.

You can support a candidate who enables genocide all you want, but I'm definitely going to speak out when people try to do it in the name of queer people.

Most people who obsess about voting for Biden and chastise others for not doing so aren't active in their community or work to make their lives or the lives of their queer neighbors better. The type of person who does nothing but vote every 2-4 years and whine online is not really anyone who's opinions I need to be concerned about.

Also important to say that it takes skill to lop off a head with one strike. So the suffering could sometimes be prolonged due to the skill (or lack thereof) of the second.

Funnily enough, I just started learning it after not playing since I had intro classes in High School.

It's been pretty fun so far. I've been using the book called Hal Leonard Guitar Method since a lot of people recommended it.

Cenk is literally insufferable and Ana Kasparian has some rancid takes. Idk what their audience even is these days.

The main game is fine. It could use some QoL stuff, but the combat's aged pretty well (even if I don't particularly like it much).

Those HD graphics in the remaster were a travesty, though.

I like it when they actually give you good options for it. I don't like it when it hampers you and locks you out of using really cool abilities. Deus Ex and MGS (especially V) do it the best imo.

I mean, I definitely didn't think it was boring, but mostly because I really like action games, and it has enough for me to keep me engaged. I haven't played a bunch, but so far, 16 has my favorite FF boss battles, and characters like Cid and Dion are definitely going to be memorable.

I do wish it had an actual party, though and like you said, though, the stuff like crafting is embarrassingly underdeveloped. I'll be going back for the DLC personally

They were like "here's DMC combat" but literally only gave you one weapon. Gauntlets, Polearms, Daggers...Or he could've had different classes - they made it work in Stranger of Paradise for god sake lol.

They tried to go full action in 16, which I liked. But it lacked the depth it needed be truly great.

And even the not-great looking games they produce kinda run like shit. Also the mainline series on switch has quite possibly one the worst online systems in any major video game series.
