Im glad Dan came around on Death Stranding

genuinely love that game for partially ironic reasons. Some of the hardest times Ive laughed at a game were while playing DS, and I dont think they were moments intended to be funny.

TLJ is probably the best movie of all of either trilogy, but I have some degree of nostalgia for the prequel stuff because I was a kid then, and I just dont have any emotional attachment to the sequel stuff

i feel like theyre in a really tough situation with the battle pass stuff

compared to Fortnite or whatever, Halo just has such a specific look, and if you stray too far from that its going to just ruin the games aesthetic and piss off old fans

so theyre stuck slowly dripping out cosmetics, and doing ridiculous stuff like making you unlock colors on a per-armor-core basis, because otherwise theyre going to run out of Halo-looking stuff too quickly and theyll have to start releasing absurd looking shit and crossovers

maybe at some point theyll let you play as an Elite or even a Brute. that would fill some space.

Bastions incredible. Even if Supergiant has progressed on their combat design since then, the aesthetic, music, and narration are so good that it still holds up.

One of the Multiplayer Games you Played" being silly aside, they chose one where I played for maybe an hour

yeah for me it showed Sonic: The Fighters which I couldnt have played for more than an hour either

my most played game was Rock Band: Blitz and it makes me wonder if literally anyone else on Earth has that as their #1. I may genuinely be its biggest fan.

its so hard to guess where they might go with the cast here.WB is such a broad concept, its so much harder to narrow down who to choose compared to Smash Bros.

like lets assume DC comics is going to be the Mario of this thing with the most character representation... whats the #2? GoT and LotR are both big ones for sure, dunno which is bigger even. Maybe you go for a bunch of Looney Tunes since theyre like the most classically WB brand? oh and Harry Potter is theirs I guess, so you probably need the three main kids from that + maybe a Voldemort at some point.

also I guess it really depends on how many characters end up in this thing ultimately. seems like no matter how many there are, you probably end up snubbing some major WB property

CoD has just been on a general downward slide since what, Advanced Warfare? With a minor uptick for Modern Warfare 2019. It has also seen dropping sales (heavily for the last two) and that is an issue when it is literally the only thing you make anymore. Hard to see how Kotick survives this when it looked rough even in good conditions.

CoD has Warzone though which Im pretty sure is making a ton of money. Makes up for the relatively lower sales of the games.
