Depends on which Blade he gets. Probably a 4 with Pyra, 5 with Mythra and way too overpowered for Mercs with Pneuma. He gets a couple more spoiler blades too. The first one is probably a 3 and the other has an ability that's way too op but will get ignored like Kain's blood drain.

No, Gaius passes on classes that can learn these skills. His daughter can learn them, so don't worry about grinding for these skills.

I wouldn't suggest trying to pass down Galeforce to the boys if you aren't trying to min max. It's going to take forever to get Galeforce on the moms unless you buy some of the later DLC packs.
