What's worse is that it's tanking Amazing Race in the ratings. CBS really did think this was going to be a slam dunk sandwiched between two of its marquee shows, but instead it may be taking TAR down with it. They learned nothing from the Love Island disaster.

They're filming TAR35 right now, so TAR is fine for now.

Most of the women who've been voted out weren't that great either. Morriah had potential, but Justine wasn't very interesting, Nneka was a nice person but not the most interesting TV, and most of my enjoyment of Lindsay and Elie came from their downfall arcs.

Sami is just such a frustrating character. Whenever he speaks, it's just so flat and robotic and matter-of-fact that makes for boring television.

I agree. He reminds me of Michael from Ghost Island in that he keeps getting confessionals despite having no charisma whatsoever.

Now, for whatever reason, I can warp to Rolance. Probably because plot device Gramps will fend off Heldalf until I complete whatever dumb sdiequests had to wait until this time. I warp to Lohgrin and get a tip about a poet named Mayvin in a cave nearby; apparently she's been dead a few hundred years but she was a prior Storyteller of Time. "Mayvin" is a clan name, and their role in history is to ensure people continue to know it - punishment for Melchior Mayvin doing the horrendous deeds he did, according to Zaveid. "The first one did something bad, this is the punishment" - and that comes with immortality as long as you keep the oath, so you get to live long enough to see all your loved ones die. Who Wants to Live Forever and all that jazz.

I'm surprised you didn't have more to say about that, given how strongly implied it is about who that Mayvin actually is.

FE really loves just completely changing characters names in localization for whatever reason. Sometimes it sort of makes sense, sometimes it doesn't.

By far the worst offender IMO is Astrid in FE9/10, who is named Stella in Japanese. I really don't understand that one at all. That's already a Western name, and sounds better...

Worst offender is Fates Arthur, considering FE already had an Arthur in FE4 (and an Artur in FE8, though that was another localization change). And his original name was Harold, which would've fit Nohr anyway.

And the Project Naga translation is the most up to date, although it's still listed as a beta and doesn't have all of the most recent names from Heroes either.

Probably better on Noishe since he can use swords. Even Arden doubles things with the Pursuit Ring because he uses swords.

You'll get a weapon this chapter that can help them out in the arena, if they have the money to buy it over from Finn.

Unfortunately, he gets Pursuit as a class skill rather than a personal skill, so he doesn't even make for a great father.

Ah Jamke. The devs really liked him so they gave him a bunch of cool skills and a good weapon. Too bad his lack of a horse means that Midir is still better.

Ayra's kids are going to have good combat regardless of who you pick since Ayra's skillset is so busted. Just beware that Astra can't proc with Luna or Sol, if you were going to try that to make them even more busted.

Eh, he doesn't need much money anyway, since his Bargain skill lets him buy stuff for half price, so he can basically trade items for free. That with the bonus money you get for keeping castles safe is enough for anything he needs to do at the start of the chapter.

Either him or Noish for a +5 crit rate. You could give it to Ethlyn too, but I doubt you're using her much for combat.

I'm guessing Aubrey & David tested positive and that's why they got such a bland edit.

Also, any weapons you don't buy are still going to be in the shop for every chapter from now on, so don't worry about buying up everything since it'll still be there if you need it later.

There's no real reason to buy any of the axes in this game. Lex is the only one who can use them unpromoted, and all of the promoted units that can use them can use swords and lances too, so there's no reason for them to use axes.

You're going to get two staves that are really good for grinding exp this chapter, so I'd wait until you get those before you start grinding. Dew can also pass money to anyone he wants, so you can use him to pass money to Ethlyn and Aideen. It's not the hardest thing here since there's a bunch of axe users.

If you can get her to level 20 and promote her, she does. Otherwise, no.

For an advantage called "Knowledge is Power", the people who had it never realized that knowledge is power and the way to completely nullify the advantage. (Well, I'll give Liana some slack because she never meant for Tiffany to find out. Drea and Geo definitely misplayed it, though.)
