I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope it's a combined tribal next week. I have a hard time seeing Denise/Jeremy/Kim/Tony beat Wendell/Yul/Whichever two of Michele, Nick and Parvati compete in a challenge. At least a combined tribal gives Tony a chance to survive.

The advantage being that cheap means that her lead means nothing unless she gets all of the tokens to shut everyone else out. There's going to be at least 4 more opportunities to get tokens before the challenge, and anyone else just needs one token to get the challenge advantage too.

It's 100% Jimmy Johnson. Lisa had been mostly out of the public eye for decades before she was on the show. I'm not even sure I'd put her on the same level as Jimmy Johnson, though she's still above everyone else.

What happened to Danni? She was a total mess this episode. It's hard to believe she's the same person that infiltrated Steph's alliance and won.

What made you think less of it? I always assumed Sucks hates it because Jet & Cord are everything they hate in a team and they were such a big part of the season. So I'm curious as to what your problem with it is since they're your favorites.

Rock Climb is decent enough to be a 4th option on somethiing. Gettiing to a high enough level to beat Red is enough of a grind already, don't make it harder by having to grind up another thing that's a lower level than everything you have.

I'd hardly call Ron and Aurora top tier characters even by EoE's low standards. I also wouldn't call EoE a time sink postmerge, at least compared to RI. It got one scene an episode, and even missed several episodes despite the winner being on it for almost the entire postmerge. Reem's tearing into Wardog only got posted as a secret scene online even though it was way more entertaining than anything we got in the actual episode and getting no EoE content in the entire episode. I'd probably have more appreciation for it if it was a huge time sink, considering that the main game was pointless due to Chris's win and I enjoyed the people on EoE more than the people in the main game.

I'd either transfer or use the Pokathlon for stones over waiting for a call. That was terrible back in Crystal when you could keep toggling daylight savings for calls. It has to be even worse now.

It doesn't double unless the target has taken damage before the damage from Assurance. It's mainly designed for doubles, though confusion and recoil can make it work in singles.

do you have to do anything special in the GBA side?

No, just put the cart in the GBA slot on the DS. It will bring whatever item the Pokmon is holding over, so it's a great way to get more of the first 50 TMs.

Yeah, Ice is probably the worst defensive type. Ice/Ground is probably its best pairing, and it still isn't that great. At least Mamoswine eventually got Thick Fat to help out.

I'd say it's better even without Technician. You trade 10 base power and a 10% chance of raising attack for +1 priority and perfect accuracy.

Yeah, even in Gen 8 there still aren't many good physical Ice attacks. That's one of the reasons why Kyurem-Black is OU even though it has a massive attack stat. Mamoswine doesn't even get anything with a decent base power until Gen 5. At least it has Ice Shard.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if you could still by coins. It's so much easier to get money from it than with slots, it's just that you can't grind the Elite Four for money to buy whatever you want anymore.

There's a couple, but Houndoom only learns Fire Fang. It's better as a special attacker anyway, so it's no big deal.

I think they wanted you to experiment, but everyone just looks it up in a guide. But consider yourself lucky that this is all it takes. Some Pokmon need you to place objects and then wait weeks for their value to increase enough for the Pokmon to show up.

Whirlpool is not necessary at all, only to get in the Dragon's Den, to the E4 the first time and the Whirl Islands. There's no need to teach it to have it on your team at all times. Same goes for Rock Smash really.

Yeah, you don't need Whirlpool anymore, and Rock Smash has been optional the whole time. Don't worry about having them on your main team.

Quick Balls have a 4x multiplier on the first turn while Dusk Balls have a 3.5x multiplier at night or in caves. Ultra Balls only have a 2x multiplier, so you're just getting very unlucky.

Use Quick Balls. They only work on the first turn but you only get one turn so it doesn't matter. You can buy them at the Safari Zone.

They can't be bought in DPP either, and the only way to get them is an NPC with a 25% chance of giving it to you when you show him the Pokmon he wants. If you play mostly at night, Dusk Balls are just as effective.
