Yeah, there's class changing, but it's more limited than in Shadow Dragon. You need an item to do it and everyone except Robin has a limited class set. It's still pretty good, though.

I think you get an ending if you get a character over a certain amount of affinity. You have to view special cutscenes for some of them, too. But you can get all of them in one playthrough if you do everything correctly. It might be possible to get no endings if you're mean enough to everyone, but I don't know this game well enough to confirm it.

You can only get one S support per person, but you can have as many of the other ranks as you like.

Like you saw, healing is one way. You can also gain support points by having units pair up or by having them stand next to each other. Don't worry about it too much since you can always grind it out in random encounters to get the pairings you want. I'm not sure if the first DLC map is still free, but you could do it there too if it is.

No, you don't marry anyone unless you get an S support with them. The exception is Chrom, who marries whichever woman he's closest to at a certain point if you haven't gotten him an S support by then.

Maria and Elice can use it, as well as Caeda and Minerva if you reclass them to a class that can use staves.

There's no point in promoting Elice, unless you don't have anyone else to promote and you have an extra crest. She can use the Aum staff at base, and that's the best reason to use her.

Bantu was decent early on when his dragonstone gave him enough boosts to make him better than the enemies you were facing, but his terrible growths mean you can't use him for very long. Tiki has great growths and can use the divine stone. She's much better, plus when you get the starsphere you can give it to her and have an unlimited use divine dragonstone.
