Not enough knowledge on the characters really... that's what happens a lot of time when there's too many big guys in a field.

I don't hate bros automatically or all the time, but I'll admit they are the hardest character type to make interesting to me.

Mark was one of my favorites last year despite being a "bro" but he was a sympathetic underdog against a really unlikable majority. It's tough, but not impossible.

That sounds like, uh, the opposite of predictable.

There are goats in the Flatlands that have healing skills. A 5* I think in the Atlasdam area, and a 6* in the Noblecourt area but I dunno if that one's available right away or only after raising the danger level once or twice.

I know that's so wrong thread, but the octopath characters would make a good design in mercs, if nothing else that they are rather unique in their abilities.

What upkeep would you peg Metal Gear Sahelanthropus at, as seen in the Sahelanthropus Extreme mission? My gut says very solid 6/week, since it's a clear step up from Metal Gear REX and would probably have a really strong matchup vs tanks like Diablo and good enough AoE to decimate teams that aren't super zippy. What do you think?

7 feels a bit highish cause my cutoff for 7/week is 'could this character fight Raiden evenly' and Raiden would smoke Sahelanthropus, but a high 6 sounds about right. Give it strong abilities if needed and you're good to go.

Waluigi is as he appears in Waluigi's Taco Stand 64. He has access to one of every kind of taco ingredient and his sombrero. He also has access to his tennis racquet, as it appears in Mario Tennis Aces, though he cannot use Zone Speed or Zone Shots.

WAAAA (Passive) - Any of Waluigi's terrains may be bid on as long as Waluigi is rostered. He is allowed to have multiple. Wah.

TOO BAD, WALUIGI TIME (Start of Battle) - Every week, Waluigi may make it Waluigi time. A random post-rosters enemy mercenary will be painted purple. They will permanently be purple for the remainder of the week.

UPGRADES

Character Upgrade
-Gains access to Zone Speed and Zone Shots, as well as an endless supply of tennis balls.
-Is accompanied by a Piranha Plant, as it appears in Mario Party 3's Duel Mode.

TOO BAD WALUIGI TIME (Ability Upgrade)
-For an additional week of recharge, the target may be pre-selected.
-For an additional week of recharge, the purple may be permanently visible and unable to be obscured by the mercenary or their allies.

Everyone Is Here (Pre-Battle) - Once every four weeks, everyone may be here. Except for someone. Both mercenary leaders must choose a mercenary from the other team. That mercenary will be unable to be rostered for the following wartime. This ability cannot be negated or redirected. This ability must be resolved before any further abilities may be used or applied.

Terrain: Taco Island - An island devoted to taco ingredients. All ingredients are present and all Goombas have already been turned into beef.

Taco Canyon - A small canyon filled with taco ingredients. Enemies and ingredients are still present.

Waluigi's Taco Stand - A small taco stand in a mountainous area, as it appears in Waluigi's Taco Stand 64. Access out of the taco stand grounds is denied. No customers are present.

Waluigi Pinball - A massive pinball table styled after Waluigi. All item boxes and karts have been removed, though the giant pinballs still remain.
