Context:

I work for a HS for special ed, I work for 18-22 year olds post high school who do things like get jobs, go to college classes, get active in their community, etc.

One of the students I'm pretty chill with, sometimes his sister comes and picks him up

One of the other students has a bday party tomorrow at a bowling alley. My other coworker who is close to that family and close to me dropped that student off at the car, and his sister asked if I was gonna be there

My coworker was like "nah he's older and has better things to do, what you like older guys or something?"

She said that she wanted to see me and that she's on Tinder

My coworker said "what you like slobbing on older men or something?"

And apparently she made gagging noises

Honestly if she was capable of doing this, it kinda makes sense why he would call it off. She's clearly weirdly obsessed. The guy could also be an asshole and playing her emotions too. I've been on the verge of obsessed with someone playing me so I get how this could tumble into something extreme.

Yeah. Idk. If I could've been known of the questions beforehand, I would answer all of them with thought, but I was put on the spot and kinda did that intentionally because that's just how I do things. I'm trying to combine the best of both worlds someday.

I have no interest in serial killers and I really don't get it. If you've had a shit life, you get how shit you'd need to be in order to be one. If you haven't, you're perplexed at how you'd want to do this. And there's also the aspect of some people simply don't have empathy; not for any logical reason, but they simply do not see their fellow people as beings to reason with. Could be upbringing but could also literally be a defect of their animal/lizard brain of not seeing other humans as equals.

I really hate the fascination. It's like you wanna know what it's like to kill people but don't have the gusto.

It's been like 5 years since I've had an interview, I couldn't believe how anxiety filled I was. I think I did okay. I think I did well on my strengths. She asked me to name 2-3 weaknesses. The first one was well delivered. I kind of made up a 2nd one and ended it with "It's not really a problem, just answering a 2nd one for the sake of the question". She also asked me what I thought of diversity and inclusion and how I represent it and that hit me out left field. I'm a minority myself and it's not something I ever actively think about. I was like "I think anyone can be whoever they want and do or practice whatever they feel is best for them, as long as they're there to work that's all that matters".

I did the best I could, we'll see. I'd really like this job but I don't need it.

I watched his 30 min interview segment. Hans agreed to play again with all stipulations that he's cheating, like willing to play in whatever conditions. To me, now it's up to chess as a game to challenge him on that. If Magnus can beat him in a totally isolated condition convincingly, I'll think Hans cheated. If nobody steps up to Hans' challenge, Hans beats chess.

You don't wish you were fat, you just wish you had something to motivate you to be better than who you are. Being fat doesn't grant you social skills, it's more like some people that are adept at social skills are also okay with being fat since they don't feel like they need a good body to be likable, OR they know their body is bad so they naturally are forced to learn how to be sociable to get the attention they want since their bodies don't do it for them.

I don't think MC is being just a sore loser on this one. I do agree he's being overly accusatory when what's really needed is a breakdown on how/why he's cheating in chess terms, but I think the context alone is influential. A guy that's admitted to cheating, that also cheats online more than he says, that has a 100% correlation to computers which is significantly above any chess player ever, that's relatively unknown otherwise, suddenly doing the perfect counter to a purposely obscure opening by the current best player in the world to specifically see if the other guy is cheating.

I could see that. It would be like being the best FPS player and your first move is going to the tallest tower and jumping off it and you get sniped in the head on your way down by a guy that you know has used aimbots before.
