My prompt for that one was "one faceless neon white silhouette playing tennis with one faceless neon white silhouette in the background, their rackets are futuristic neon white, in a giant all black glass room with neon lights as the net, the court's edges have neon white lights, a giant neon white scoreboard says "4-2", dark room, ominous"

At first I tried saying two players instead of one, but it would be two guys facing each other on the same side of the court and nobody on the opposing side. Little corrections like that. I wanted to get like a Black Mirror+Tron vibe out of it, like a borderline sci-fi horror out of it.

In my vision, there's only neon white lights on the perimeter of the ceiling and court only, and the court would be a LOT bigger, but overall I'm satisfied with how it came out. Took a bunch of tries and that one was my favorite.

Yeah, I got that the 2nd time watching it. The first time I was watching live so I didn't even see him chuck the core into the thing.

Captain Marvel was bland. It wasn't the worst movie ever, but it was like a "this is only entertaining for the moment I watch it" sorta thing. Also in End Game, she was obviously so powerful that she seems even lamer for her being some Deus Ex Machina solve-all resolution. She should be losing to Galactus in her movie. She could've beat Thanos before he was an issue but she has 'other things' to attend to??

The trailer also did not look good. This is not just because of girls or anything. I ended up watching Quantamania and I thought it was AWFUL.

It's weird. I get this huge inauthentic vibe from him. Like he's obviously using his business social skills to grift GOPers. I feel like he's doing this just to increase his business/money and finding the easiest angle possible.

I think if he wanted a better chance, he should've rebranded his name as like Vick Ramas or something. Unfortunately, I feel like people are gonna judge him on his name alone.

This was a great and unexpected episode. I don't understand how Evil Morty can be so intelligent when pairing up Mortys was to blanket the intelligence of Ricks, though.

I'm not even sure they thought that far into the show's future during that episode. What creating a field of Mortys establishes is that 1) Rick is somehow dependent on Morty in more ways than one ("intelligent waves" being a metaphor) , 2) Rick is nihilistic in his attachment to Morty (even though he's also not), and 3) Evil Morty wanted moreso to bait a Rick that could even find him in the first place, specifically one that made portal technology.

Can't wait to see how Bill reacts to all this

That felt trippy to watch on my phone in the dark in bed, definitely made me feel minor trace second hand vibes, especially at the barn wall and dog. Overall it was accurate.

The color flushing seemed pretty good. He needs to up the contrast ; everything should look more vibrant by default. I think the waviness was a little too much but it could happen on a high dose. I think when he stared at the wall of the barn, that was crazy accurate lol. The only thing missing is that your brain starts piecing together shapes to make images too, not just raw shapes necessarily.

Either his worldview is gonna crumble when nobody picks him, or mine will if people do pick him

What a crazy episode. The post credits scene blew me away. It both implies that there are multiple 'Ricks' that constantly get made from all of one organism losing a loved one. The difference is that Uncle Slow's wife and her Birdperson worked out. Rick's didn't work out.

I need to rewatch this tomorrow. Not really sure what Evil Morty wants with the thing. I was kinda surprised he didn't just go live somewhere peaceful, and that he even came back, but I liked that Rick even called him out for being a fan for fucking off.

Really tied up a lot in this one

Overall it was wonderful. It's such a well designed game. The way they introduce things and then challenge you with them feels perfectly balanced to just play through without worrying how good you are. I think the full experience is going for the 100%, because the levels open up a little more when you're trying to collect stuff. You can really tell too, because a lot of jumps are 'cut in half', like you can full commit and skip over it, or do the normal way and jump twice. It doesn't need to be hard to be good.

Most levels feel pretty memorable. Wonder Seeds were a treat. I do kind of wish they didn't reuse a single one, and a number of them are like "level gimmick but giant". But it makes it fun to try levels to see what it'll do.

Presentation is really nice. Great aesthetics, charming animations, I really like the Flower's comments, color palette and screen effects.

Even though it's good, I think adding a little bit of difficulty would've been more fun. I don't need to prove anything by beating something difficult, but it would've opened up the mechanics and potential level design a little more. It would also make badge selection be a little more important.

I think boss battles were a little lacking.

Basically the only things 'wrong' with it for me is that it's not better. I wish it was a little more difficult and I wish certain things were better, but I can't really wish for a game to be what it's not. If I was a kid, this would be a 'classic' to me for decades. I think it might be the best 2D Mario game, it's hard to shake SMB3 though.

The 2nd one is just blowing me away. I'm so tempted to take credit for it like I could draw it but I really did not give it that much direction. The antichrist/church hall symbol in Sans eye is just such a cool fucking detail, as well as the sunbeams from the Gaster Blaster piercing through. I love the symmetry of it all, and the angle is just perfect. Amazing.

I don't really care one way or the other, but I thought Captain Marvel was a mediocre movie and the new one doesn't look all that much better.

Also, some of way girl characters are written is like "lol I'm a girl" instead of just being a character, on top of generally not comedic actors trying to be funny

The toxin is like a chemical yes (called Cereulide if my surface level research is correct), produced by a strain of bacteria called Bacillus cereus. The poisoning comes from the chemical the bacteria make, not necessarily the bacteria themselves

At the very least, I'd say it follows a general storyboard pattern that other eps do (Rick uses some aspect of cosmic knowledge for a measly benefit, Morty uses his naivety and good intentions to explore it, Morty ends up making it worse, Rick fixes it and tells Morty not to meddle).

Same with Snake episode, Gazorpazorp, Fart Cloud, Purge, Kronenberg World, Vat of Acid, Nimbus episode, etc

I think it fit in line and was a fun addition

This felt like a "classic" RM episode, in a good way. Morty prying unnecessarily deep with good intentions which leads to something catastrophic with Morty to blame. Kinda like the Snake epsiode, Gazorpazorp, Vat of Acid, Fart cloud, etc. Horrific concept when you zoom in but not so bad when you zoom out, with some real world/life implications.

It scratched that sort of funny, nihilistic itch the show has that I like.

I like that they're willing to make any kind of plot, the disclaimer at the beginning for me was like "oooh shit, what's gonna happen".

I think something about their characterization still feels a little off? I don't think Rick's even burped. Morty hasn't called out Rick. Idk if I'm just looking for it though.
