It's been like 5 years since I've had an interview, I couldn't believe how anxiety filled I was. I think I did okay. I think I did well on my strengths. She asked me to name 2-3 weaknesses. The first one was well delivered. I kind of made up a 2nd one and ended it with "It's not really a problem, just answering a 2nd one for the sake of the question". She also asked me what I thought of diversity and inclusion and how I represent it and that hit me out left field. I'm a minority myself and it's not something I ever actively think about. I was like "I think anyone can be whoever they want and do or practice whatever they feel is best for them, as long as they're there to work that's all that matters".

I did the best I could, we'll see. I'd really like this job but I don't need it.

Idk what field you work in or your skill level but I havent had a casual phone interview in probably 10 years, they always jumped into problem solving and pc skills for me (I work in IT), but yeah I still get those jitters despite working professionally longer than I havent

I currently work in education to support students 1:1, I'm applying for a position to coach people how to work with students 1:1

For the future -- diversity and inclusion, should be answered with the stock answer:
"Allowing everyone to fulfill their full potential, no matter their blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... (It's not treating everyone the same!) I'd do this by not allowing their blah, blah, blah to impact my work as a coach when 1v1, and working around their blah, blah, blah when working as a group for example if dealing with a blah, blah, blah student I would make sure blah, blah, blah...."

Yeah. Idk. If I could've been known of the questions beforehand, I would answer all of them with thought, but I was put on the spot and kinda did that intentionally because that's just how I do things. I'm trying to combine the best of both worlds someday.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Most I ever had was top strength and top weakness, but that was years ago, sounds like tell me about yourself on steroids
