I know because I've done these things (not because I'm so poor as to need to-- just because money saved is money saved and I choose to spend money on other things). Both figures are well below "$10 less than $60," which isn't even the most expensive I've seen poor people have. None of which have been uber drivers (think you could get by without a high end plan there too) so that aspect is irrelevant. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

If these little luxuries they 'need' end up adding up to hundreds a month, I'm not so sure. The fact that you think that the figure I quoted at you is only "10 bucks too much" speaks to your ignorance on the topic-- you can save $50+ on that $60 figure and still have a phone. You save $50 per month you can basically amount that to the equivalent of a $0.30-$0.40/hr raise. You can nickel and dime a ton out of that and people could functionally be making a lot more than they do now. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

Like I've known many many people who are minimum wage or close to it who have like $60+ a month phone bills when there are much cheaper options out there, pay several times per month the amount I do on car insurance despite not having awful driving records, choose to lease a new car when they could get by with a decent used car, etc etc. Even in high cost of living areas $15 is kinda overkill, never mind in areas that aren't huge population centers. --- No problem! Would definitely be Santino'd in WWE, but in theory he could be like Chris Jericho's current run I guess-- Jericho right now is for all intents and purposes a joke character but still can credibly win titles. Kinda unfair because he has history behind him but like, two-three years ago he wasn't credible and was just thought to be a past his prime vet that WWE only brings in to lose repeatedly. Point is I think Castle doesn't quite go over the line of being silly to the point where he can't be credible and if booked that way he absolutely would be a draw. --- No problem! Most people see vanilla Cloud as a 4 and AC Cloud as a 5. It's not so much the idea that Cloud is being disrespected without AC as much as just watching what he does in AC vs FFVII. Like Cloud gets healthy respect without it but it's a pretty big different. Like pricing Cloud at 7/week and giving him Knights of the Round linked to Final Attack behind a character upgrade would be a more egregious version of what I'm saying here. --- No problem! You'll note that the second build, the one that people actually liked, was actually closer to the Mercenaries 3 build than it was to the Mercenaries 4 one that was created from scratch. Mercenaries 3 Seph wasn't actually the worst build when you think about it. Like sometimes the best solution is "this new idea you had was so far off the mark that we should go back to an earlier idea as the start point and work from there, because that one had a lot better foundation to it." Like if we ran with the premise "Longer is Better is a good ability" entirely because it was suggested and new, and tried to fix it rather than just scrapping it, we wouldn't have had a good remake there. --- No problem! You're wasting a lot of energy on builds that were already fairly decent and doing laterals (at best) for a lot of them. Heck I even played ball and have offered better alternatives to what you were doing with Bowser (make the ability more consistent) and Cloud (change the combat write-up) despite disagreeing they needed to be changed at all and thinking the new build is overall worse (even with my suggestions). What you're doing here is like if I have a car with a big dent in the hood, come to get it fixed, and you're talking about changing the style of the hubcaps or changing it to a slightly different shade of green. --- No problem! I mean the remake isn't bad I guess (aside from splitting AC off in the character upgrade and the dumb materia custom-- Mercs 4 should've been enough of a hint that that's a bad idea on the AC thing) but it's arguably a decrease in quality from the final M4 Cloud build and frankly the ability copying thing can go with a lot of characters who have less things to make abilities from and fit as well or better, so why waste it on a guy who it's not particularly iconic for who has a ton of iconic ability fodder to use if you want. I mean I get it if you're running a game for people you want to make some builds cause that's a big part of the fun of hosting for you-- I just feel like there are more than enough builds that are actually bad to remake that you can focus your energy there first. --- No problem! Everything else don't care but can't allow that kinda stuff to be done to the brand. Well, no, actually I'd do what WWE is likely going to do-- make her women wrestling's answer to JTG because it's not easy to say "well it's because she helped some dude shoot a load on the NXT Title" in a press release and if you don't elaborate it's easy for casual onlookers to say it was about the sex tapes in general and question why Woods wasn't released. Impact moves you can hit on a lot of guys from a variety of situations with little warning are the best face finishers. I think the bigger reason for me being soured on Seth Rollins was changing his finish more than his face character being garbage. Curb Stomp existing made his matches like 10x better. So many neat setups for it and just a fierce looking finish. Transition to the pedigree, one of the worst finishes in wrestling this side of Roll The Dice and Overdrive, and it single handedly makes his matches a lot less exciting. --- No problem!
