Eh kinda the wrong game to cite "I ended every day with vote on scum" as a strong suit, given the amount of gimme lynches (basically you needed to be right on day 4 and day 5, and merely not wrong on day 2, to make this claim-- which admittedly is better than I can say since I voted IGCD but I still say he was scum).

But I'm certainly not using that to cast shade on ya either. You definitely saw Tony pretty clearly at the very least, which would put you above a lot of the town. Convincing is a big part of the game though. If you were better at it than me we might've got the right lynch day 4 ha ha.

Based off the two games I've seen in the past month Ulti would probably be my pick for the worst mafia player on b8. Is this just a bad stretch or is he really that bad and the whole "everyone knows I'm the best mafia player on b8" is typical Ulti fluff.

You should just fix the ones you think are an issue beforehand. I honestly don't think there were many terrains at all that were all that terrible. (Keep in mind that I think good != needing fixing. There are just a few that are straight wonky or unclear like the F-Zero track that I'd axe)

Also we should be able to bid starting gp on our snake draft position.

I think that's not all on you, Tiro, and more on the town being scummy.

Like Tony, Scare, and Johnbobb's biggest tells were that they were more idle than they should be.

But you could've said the same about half the town <_< Oddity, Death, Eaed, Jaded_Eye, Leo were all almost as bad. I really feel like the only reasonable scumhunting measure come day 4 and Johnbobb flipped was to look at voting records on the triple bus (part of why MZero pinged my radar, and why Tony didn't). If you inspected posting habits you were kinda dead in the water I felt because so many people were half assing it hard.

I think Ben was basically the baseline for what I'd call good town play. Like I'm not sure many of his reads were great but in a game full of bens as town the players would find the scum simply because the more town that doesn't play like scum there are the actual scumtells by scum become that much more glaring. Menu was also fine but too paranoid for his own good to the point where I got legit suspicious he was scum just trying to cast suspicion on everyone since that's a textbook scum tactic.

Leonhart would be the clear archrival. For reasons beyond number. Crimes such as not believing Squall died at the end of disc 1, thinking Snake is better than Raiden, and making bad alts chief among them.

Semifinal vs Belarus is my bloodiest rival, most likely due to our feud being one of blood, despite having a smaller body of work than Leonhart.

I guess greengravy294 can also be a rival in the same sense that Rufus randomly shows up to declare himself Ken's Rival in Street Fighter 4.

I probably wouldn't have saved me with all the heat I was getting early day 1 but I appreciate the sentiment. I do think 4 our of the last 5 or so games I had as town before this one I was killed N1, and it got so bad that I accidentally got myself lynched in the 5th by "playing scummy" to avoid the N1 kill on me, but I think most of that guard has rotated out too.

Anyway I felt I did fairly well. Read on Johnbobb/Death being off was the main blunder-- I'll attribute that more to MZero's scum play being good than anything. I don't think anyone could've won with that town though, particularly with so much of our power getting night killed so early. I definitely don't think IGCD lynch was a mistake on my end. That was good scumhunting that happened to hit town that was so bad that it displayed scum tendencies.

I don't see how a cop existing is relevant to whether the claim is legit.

Scare is imo the obvious scan choice as well-- even if you buy the idea that scare becomes obvscum if cop doesn't appear, just having rock solid info that a certain guy is scum earlier is nice.

Also I like how Tiro did so little for mercs he didn't even get a badmin spot. That's great flavor.

I don't think town was incredibly weak but I do think it was weak considering it was up against 5 scum with 4 abilities + survivor.

And if the ability text was once every 3 nights like I said, I would've waited till I had a sure kill/RB target to use it. You're probably only getting one use with that stip. Better to make it more likely a good one.

In a balanced setup only 3/5 scum are doing something night 1. I'd argue 2/5 but we obv had an unnecessary assassin. It makes him marginally more town. Not enough that he's off the table at all.

No mks would've been really close. IGCD was dead either way but shortened day and not seeing vote records sucked. Jaded sucked cause he was obvtown. Could town lynch MZero before Ben or Jaded. Scare and Tony probably die. I think I'm the only one who was even a little suspicious of MZero so not sure.

Also curious what these super obvious tells IGCD makes as scum that are worse than bs vote logic and contradicting yourself.

I think that game was kinda rigged against town. 5 scum + survivor with a fairly weak town ability set. No cop! I was SURE Death fakeclaimed pjbasis and was cop. Like I probably should've been a full watcher at least imo.

MZero did well. I started to think "you know this guy might be scum" when he absolutely wouldn't drop the Death idea, but I didn't fully explore that-- I blame the modkill day ending early, though really I thought two scum were left and it was Oddity + Scare, and I wouldn't have really gone into MZero all that much. Much more confidence in Scare though, so if I was alive I would've pushed for that first.

Tony did well too. He was even more off my radar than MZero, but he was on the radar of others. I probably should've followed my gut that the Tom as vanilla claim didn't make sense.

Overall I think town was bad (TWO MODKILLS) but I also think scum did well. But honestly between the two modkills, Ulti thinking that being obnoxious as hell is smart play, and me causing the lynch of two scum consecutively being argued by town members as a scum gambit, and much of the town being basically inactive, that I'm considering going back into retirement after this debacle. Or at the very least being much more judicious with the player list contents in games I consider joining. Just not the kinda games that are fun to play.

Anyway yeah

Tentative plan is to fully pic Character Battle today. I'm just going with the light blue highlight scheme for now for guys I've given pics-- if this is a real inconvenience it's easy to convert back to light green. I'll upload them as a Zip to the 1006 Verse folder. I'm generally reusing 9000-verse pics when they exist and I think they're decent. Also generally overkilling pics a bit. Mario has 5 for example.

1006-Verse Pics folder will have pics in sets, then the zip out front will have ALL the pics. Just figured you shouldn't have to dl the pics you already have every time.

Okay so yeah for now I think the easiest way for me would be to change the green ones to blue if I have pics for em? Is that okay?

Then in theory you give me the reigns with the DB at some point when a lot of the pictures are in there and I link the pic to the guy and give bios while doing that and change em to light purple like I did with the FE stuff.

Alternatively you can link the pictures yourself. I can upload the pictures in batches by fed since zips seem easier to handle on dropbox. Just tell me what ya wanna do I guess.

So yeah I deleted a "Here Ed" folder that had all the FWA stuff unzipped-- think that was only made because one of eddv/eaed had an issue downloading the zipped stuff

FWA4 zipped stuff is still there taking around 400mb, but we're at 1.1gb of 2.0gb now so plenty of room to play around with.

So big thing I notice on the dropbox is we have a lot of redundant storage. A lot of FWA4 stuff. For now I'm going to trash a lot of that so we can make it more streamlined towards 1006verse, We're at 1.9gb of 2.0gb but we shouldn't even be close to that.

If anyone wants the FWA4 stuff I can always reupload it.

Okay yeah there's a dummyproofing measure.

3. In the event that two or more players are tied in votes at the end of the day, sudden death will occur. A thirty minute extension will begin once indicated by the host, and only the tied players may be voted for. The moment one player emerges as the vote leader, the day immediately ends, and they will be lynched. If there is no change after thirty minutes, the day will end with No Lynch.

So yeah if you guys wanna do that, then do that. If you wanna super dummyproof it, have the votes like such.

IGCD [3] - eaed, player1, player2
eaed [3] - IGCD, player3, player4

Then you have eaed remove his vote to break the tie, ensuring he's around to use his poison move.

Also I'm like 99% sure IGCD is Scum now. I see no real reason to lynch eaed here as I feel he's playing the role in too pro-town a way to begin with (and frankly the ability sucked as a scum claim to begin with since you can use it like we're discussing now). But if you guys want to have IGCD poison himself go for it-- just be sure eaed is actually here for lynch since there's a time limit on it.

For the record if you wanna do it, I think the best way to do it is have like, a tie between IGCD and eaed. Say 3 votes on each. Then at deadline, you have one of the IGCD voters unvote.

That protects the maneuver because if IGCD jumps off eaed, he's lynched immediately.
