I'm just kinda wanting to know where your feelings of "it's always the cops" and "the majority are peaceful" came from and whether it was grounded in some sorta statistics or anything. Don't get me wrong-- I know there are a lot of peaceful protests out there, but I don't blindly assume they are super under-reported-- mostly because we have a lot of people out there like you who are looking for the peaceful ones specifically, so they do get reported at a decent clip even if you have to dig around a bit more than just visiting CNN.com to find them. But the rate of violence, in spite of the peaceful reports, remains much too high for me to not assume there's something wrong with the approach. So I was wondering if you thought there was something to improve there, because right now the whole movement to me feels well intentioned but ultimately ineffective at fostering any sort of positive change. Organization seems to be the key in any case. Seems like a thing that would be simple to execute, but getting people to do it is the problem-- what did the women's march even do to get the ball rolling on coordinating so well? Why can't or hasn't BLM done that yet? --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

With some practice you could almost certainly become better than the average drunk driver while drunk if you learned how to compensate for the stuff that drunkenness compromises properly, and that skillset wouldn't necessarily apply if you were high as many of the reasons you become a bad driver are different for each. But you're still going to on average be a bad driver even at peak efficiency, never mind those "learning experiences" where you're completely garbage and getting by on luck, so I mean it's still taking a special brand of stupid to develop that skillset. --- No problem! Like I feel like if there really are as many peaceful protests as you're saying and they all got some amount of coverage to the point where they're at least pinging radars, that would be a huge boon to the masses taking the movement seriously, as presentation is a big issue at the moment. How organized is it on at least say, Twitter? Like if you were to try to point me to some evidence of what exact number that the peaceful protests exist, could you? I'm curious of what the statistics actually are-- I feel like this is doable through hashtags on Twitter being cross mapped with national news at the very least. I do think local news is probably covering the peaceful protests, as I've seen a lot of those on my local news-- I'm wondering if that's pooled anywhere either. --- No problem!
