That amount gives me very low chance of getting it, so I never bother. I can spend more but at that point I'd rather just spend the money on physical items. It's not really that low. Typical gacha the drop rate on a specific character/whatever is 1%. $100 will give you somewhere in the realm of 30-40 draws typically, more if you had some foresight and bought via sales in advance. That's in the ballpark of a 1/3 chance of getting the thing you want, which isn't terrible. Combined with sales and self restraint on using the free currency you can easily get well above 50% on getting what you want as long as you aren't playing a super cheap ass gacha. Some are even more generous than that. The main concern is limiting how many characters/items you attempt to get. But yeah I don't regret dumping some cash into gachas and it's not like I make a ton of money. I get by but yeah. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

You win pretty often actually depending on what you're drawing for. The key is to put a spending limit on yourself before drawing and actually sticking to that and accepting your loss should it occur, and doing it in moderation. A lot of people don't do that which is why the spending on those games gets so outrageous-- do it for a character or item or two once in a great while though? It's just simple probability to know your odds, and it'll often be well over 50% with even a modest amount spent. Would I rather have like 10 of my dumb league skins (I have well over this) or a 68% chance at a character I really want in Brave Exvius? I'd probably roll the dice there cause those skins are pretty whatever. (especially now that I've long since dropped League, but you know) --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

But like, for the Record Keeper thing, I spent a couple hundred on that before the game eventually got to a point where I wasn't enjoying it though. I played it for a good year and I don't regret the decision to drop it, nor do I regret the decision to play it-- had I played it for say 5 years and spent 1k instead, I probably wouldn't take that as wasting my money either. Some people might, though. Had I spent $1k in that 1 year though, maybe that'd be a problem. I really don't know. Given I had a lot of fun with it just having spent what I did though it's hard to imagine spending that much more. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |

You could credibly make him whatever rarity you wanted really, even ignoring the fact that well I wouldn't really call the higher rarity guys stronger anyway (Herc should absolutely be a 5* if you're going that way) and that he has pretty good showings in the game. That being said I don't mind he's a 1* much he seems viable enough due to the grail system. A bit squishy and lower attack power than I'd like but his skills are good, his NP is strong and easy to raise to 5, and he gets good crit star/meter gain. I'd rather use him than a lot of higher rarity servants. Probably legitimately stronger than Stheno of an equivalent level straight up just to name a higher rarity of the same class. (LOL. | Lopen 08/31/17 10:08:38 PM #45 | My only real problem with the gacha in this game is that 4* and lower craft essences are kinda just straight outclassed by 5* and as such not exciting to get, and 3* Servants can be obtained from the friend summon, so basically if I do a 10 draw and don't get a 4*+ Servant or a 5* CE, I feel ripped off, and the odds of that occurring aren't very low at all. If you made the guaranteed from a 10 draw a 5* craft or a 4* servant I would probably be okay with it. Alternatively make some of the 4* crafts actually desirable beyond a "I can use this until I get the 5* version" level. --- No problem! This is a cute and pop genocide of love! |
