Comes out at 3 AM EST.

I'm pretty fucking hyped. Last episode was great. I wanna see Grogu go HAM trying to save Din.

I doubt they'll top Luke flying in, but I'm definitely curious on what they drop in for the finale.

Thrawn? Cal? Sabine? Ezra? Palpatine? More Luke? Boba saves the day?

No leak spoilers please.

This would be great actually. And it would make sense since seasons 3 and 4 were greenlit together, so they can take liberties with this season.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

He's confusing tbh. Is he gonna show up here? Or Ahsoka first? Or are they gonna save him till right before the New Republic movie?

I really don't get why everyone always brings up Cal as a candidate for cameos.

I mean, I feel like I missed something. His game was fun, but he was about as bland, whitebread a protagonist as star wars has seen. I really don't see why him showing up would be so "hype."

Regardless, I think this is the season we lose. Also, there is absolutely no way they top S2's finale; that scene is up there with legendary television moments PERIOD, I don't think we're ever gonna see it beaten.

Koska and Bo were alone twice and she didn't turn... that's not looking good for the armorer's case.

Launching the Interceptors was a great shot.

Axe getting shot up. also not looking good for the armorer's case.

guard rails continue to not exist in the future. ...past

mouse army, lol. fuck you, i fly now.

"those are his clones." were, now.

lol, she really brought a hammer to a blaster fight. please don't be evil.

for a second there, i though gideon was going to get sniped during his monologue.

fuck 'em up, grogu!

guess not yet.

darksabre was not the death i was expecting tonight.

we. are. groo...gu.

yay, armorer's not evil. this is the way.

People are gonna hate this one because theyve built up their ideas for cameos and fan theories and big twists and all that, but I thought it was great.

Good season overall, but definitely the weakest of the three (but that doesnt make it bad). The highlight for me was honestly Grogus flashback, I would definitely love to see more of how he ended up from there to when Mando first meets him.

It was short and rushed. It could have been great with the same plot points but the transitions after the battle were rushed

This show needed a few more mandalorian deaths.

The season finale was nice. Action picks right up from the previous episode. I am very surprised full Mandalorian armor can get into space. Guess thats a thing now in starwars. The gideon fight was not what i expected and im glad for it. Yeah, wished the episode was longer to expand the battle of mandalore.

Thing was Moff Gideon was absent from the season but his presence was felt. I thought armored suit gideon wouldve been more proactive at the end there. Be like, oh there they are. Lemme swoop in here and surprise them! Nope, we get to see din djarin go through the mini phantom menace barriers.

Yeah season 3 took Din Djarin to the side and concluded another Mandalorian's story. So thats 2 now with boba fett and BoKatan. Seems like season 4 will be Grogu's season.

Favreau said in a interview season3 is the way he wrote it to be. Wonder if what we got in season3 was the compromise of what he planned and what Kennedy wanted. Hmm...

Like others have said, def the weakest of the finales, but still very enjoyable. Love how they left Mando and Grogu, it's a happy ending that sets up for possible adventures in the future.
Only thing that irked me was Gideon's stupidity. You see him clearly tracking Din and Grogu and then goes "I'll deal with them myself", yet he just patiently fucks around off screen while they destroy the one thing he's been trying to accomplish.

Given how the original Darksaber was created, I'm guessing that with Grogu now officially being a Mandalorian foundling, he'll create a new version of the Darksaber and possibly become the future Mandalore.

Also what's the odds of one of the Gideon clones escaping?

Remarkably high. Not a sure thing, but one of them opened his eyes, so it's possible he can survive outside the tank. Surviving the ship explosion would be a little trickier, though.

This was a pretty good, jam packed episode. Lots of great scenes. Gideon seemed like a giant idiot by the end though.

I'm glad Mandalore is back and I think overall, it was a good mission. I like that Din and Grogu are about to be on their own again.

I didn't really like how the episode got resolved part way in and they had that weird ending. It always comes off weird when shows try to wrap things up and then rush in an epilogue.

Exactly my thoughts. At that point he didn't know Din was coming for him instead of escaping. Din also had no idea where the control room was at that point, so Gideon choosing to track him down makes sense. Go get him before he escapes. Instead he chooses to hide and hope things work out somehow. Then they didn't, and it was treated as if we were supposed to care that the clones were destroyed. Maybe if we knew what his plan was before it was shut down and had time to think they'd be a threat it'd be different.

Man, what a terrible season lmao these fight scenes have been god awful, and the jetpack shootout scene had some of the worst CGI in all of Star Wars media.

The laser door scene could have been cool if it didn't cut to a different angle every 2 seconds.

Cal is great and so is Monaghan imo. If anything, wishes for Cal are just to see more Jedi having survived the OT era. He's a great part of the lore.

It would be sad that he eventually died before the OT era. If not that, then he almost certainly has to show up by the new Rey movie.

In fairness the point of Order 66 wasn't "exterminate 100% of the Jedi" (tho if it did I'm not sure Palps would complain) but it was just to break the Jedi's power and take them off the board as a threat.

Admittedly, it does make it weird how Ben and Yoda act like they're the only two Jedi running around and that Luke/possibly Leia are their only option left.

Even if they know they're not the only Jedi around I could see why they'd still think Luke and Leia are their best options since it's a given they'd be naturally extremely strong in the force, and they'd probably have a better chance of getting a straight shot at Vader/Palps than any other wayward Jedi they could track down

And the distribution is just wild.

At this point we have actual legions of padawans, younglings, and overall scrubs surviving, but damn near every seasoned master bit it during the first wave? Even taking the jedi's self-sacrificing nature into account, I've gotta call bullshit. We've got 6 year old younglings Berserker Raging their way into surviving getting impaled in the chest, and fuck-ups like sending TWO CLONES to kill YODA, and I'm expected to believe all the competent jedi were seamlessly killed, sparing only the weak ones?

That's the one thing that honestly makes sense. The masters are by far the biggest threat by themselves. A single master could easily take out several dozen storm/clone troopers if not for the surprise attack. So of course the focus would be on taking them down during that first wave.
