I hated it. One of the most impactful memories I have of it is having a "friend" of mine literally point at me and say "All of us let you sit with us at lunch".

I never had a good time in school.

Thought the title said "Do you date high school" and thought 'Boy, I sure hope he's not going where I think he's going with this...'

Yeah I hated high school. I hated having to get up every day and go sit in a classroom with people that didn't like or care to get to know me and teachers that lumped me in with the ignorant and disrespectful students. I hated wearing a military uniform. I hated riding the bus. High school was just a miserable experience and you know what? I'd still take that over being an adult...

High school was fine. I actually disliked college the most. Soured me on academia.

I had pretty much no friends in high school and was dealing with depression and social anxiety. Pair that with a heavy pressure to do well and get good grades, and it resulted in high school being one of the worst periods of my life.

I thought i did at the time but now I miss all those people and teachers

There was good and there was bad. So meh; I voted no.

It was alright while going, but looking back it didnt go well for me. I was in a group of friends that just completely overshadowed me, so I never picked up on those social issues like small talk and flirting

eh. I HATE hated middle school, and 9th grade was basically middle school 2.0 for me, but the rest of highschool was mostly fine. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I was just there.

I thought it was a lot worse than it really was.

It was tight, I only touched a titty once tho cuz I was super fat.

I wasn't a huge fan of it at the time, but looking back 20 years later I wouldn't mind being able to go back to those days.

Yes, only good thing was getting to see hot girls

not really. i hated doing homework and often never would, unless it was for marks. I'd just get by on being smart enough to get a B+ or A- on all the tests.

This was never actually said to me, but it's the vibe I got. Especially late Junior, and all of Senior year.

And, after a while, most of them figured out when I would eat lunch, and arrive when I was almost done, and about to leave.

It was the one time of my life that had me actively contemplating suicide, so... you tell me

While looking back, I can tell that me being a miserable little ass was a big reason for a lot of my problems, it doesn't really make my time in high school any less miserable.

There are some good things when I look back now, I'm still close with a couple of my friends from high school, but still, wouldn't really want to do it again.

I never liked school, but primary and middle school had their share of perks and good times. High school had nothing. Didn't even enjoy the kompany of other students by that point and ended up going to a home school.

Highschool was fine. One semester I spent 5 out of 6 classes is one room and was basically given straight A+s for it.

High School itself wasnt too bad, its the immediate years after graduating that sucked and I still feel the effects of to this day.

Didn't hate it.
Didn't love it.
It was great on the weekends and after school - parties all the time.

Yeah, sat alone at lunch and I smelled like pee

Absolutely hated it.

Reasons:

• Waking up early as fuck.
• Sitting in class all day falling asleep.

If I had online school as a kid, it would have been a godsend.

I was very involved in sports and clubs in high school. Loved all four years

Yea... Nothing of value happened to me in highschool... Just a shit time that I barely graduated from...

High school was great. I'm still friends with lots of people I went with 15 years later, and we're pretty spread out geographically at this point. I had fun playing sports, wasn't bullied, and could fit into lots of social groups despite being a "nerd" because I played football and ran track and actually got to know the jocks, plus it was a small town so most people hung out despite being different anyway.

Mostly yes, but I definitely missed out on having a good gf and parties. I had fun in class, fun with teacher, and fun with friends. But I had a gf for a month and barely got to 2nd base with her, but she ended up cheating on me and I didn't get another one lol. I didnt go to any prom. And I didnt go to any parties cuz I was straight edge for some stupid reason.

Thank goodness I shook that straight edge shit off when I got to college >_>

my hs gf made it all worth it. of course nothing has topped those few months to date.

High school was ok. Until my senior year. I moved and was the new kid and had no friends all year. Sucked.

Yeah, high school was alright. I had some fun, had some good and bad memories, it's nothing I really think about anymore.

Still feeling the negative impacts of those 6 years and likely will never get past them at this point...

I have some regrets on some of my actions in high school, but despite those regrets I'd love to go back.

Now my life at home while in high school is another story....

I went from a private middle school with one class per grade to a public high school with 2,500 students. It was a feeling of freedom that I never had before. Suddenly no one knew or cared who I was and I loved it.

I would have gained a lot more from the experience if it weren't for my undiagnosed sleep apnea and resultant fatigue and late development

I despised high school. Looking back, it was my undiagnosed social anxiety kicking in. But being cooped up with a bunch of people all day, given tasks then judged on it, working with class mates on projects.

It made me withdraw and try to avoid everyone, which in turn made everyone dislike me. I was heavily bullied and made fun of. I was very passive, so I never tried to stop it.

It was just torture. Everyone else hated the classes, but that was my only break. Having everyone be forced to sit silently and focus on something other than each other. Class was easy, I spent every class daydreaming, half asleep, and sketching pictures and still outperformed most everyone else. Even won some kind of award for being one of the best performing students in the district and I never even paid attention. It just made them dislike me even more. One other person at my school got the same award and she was furious that someone like me got it too. I just couldn't win.

If it wasn't for band, I would have hated high school. I got really into playing alto sax. I might have been a 5th year senior if it wasn't for band keeping me motivated to stay eligible. Starting in 9th grade, I was dealing with health issues that caused me to start failing classes for the first time in my life. It was miserable.

It was alright, I almost got expelled because I stuck up for myself.

I was waiting to get sent home anyway as I wasn't feeling well, next minute this guy started, for no reason, punching me on the side of the head, I couldn't move my arms so I lifted my foot, it caught him, he was alright. The end result was, I didn't get expelled but got put in isolation for 3 days.

It wasn't all bad though, another time I was sat in class, next minute there's a knock at the door, teacher asks to speak to me and I'm wondering what I did, he told me I hadn't done anything wrong and he was there to tell me I had won an award, my hands started shaking. People asked me what happened and I told them.
