You can know how offensive a word is and still live in a culture where the word is used frequently and without pause.

Nordic and (especially) eastern europe is full of people who use that word, and I'm not surprised a dumbass like pdp would use it accidentally in a heated moment. He probably says it all the time offstream with his friends and doesn't really think about it.

He obviously shouldn't say that word. It is going to be a big problem for him no matter what the context is.

My junior year of college I walked over 30 minutes to get to class. And my wife currently walks over 20 minutes during her commute which involves muggy D.C. swamp air.

So no, I think having to walk 10-15 minutes in the heat with a backpack is super "whatever." That's not even a mile. The morning heat will be gone in a month or two anyway.

I can't understand how anyone would think that mgs belongs in the discussion. There is nothing in that game that even remotely resembles real dialogue. It's 95% plot/gameplay exposition with some of the hammiest acting I've ever seen.

It might be fun but it's in no way authentic.

Sometimes it's tricky. There have been songs that sound great but i find the content incredibly offensive, and eventually one outweighs the other. But very few songs offend me like that so it rarely comes up.

It's easy for me to forget/ignore the views of creators as long as those views are not oppressive in the medium. Like, knowing that I dislike Tim Allen doesn't affect my enjoyment of Toy Story.

I don't understand how anyone in the habit of wearing a seatbelt could forget to put it on for long. It's like if you normally wear a hat and forget to put it on, after a minute or two you will notice you aren't wearing it.

Seatbelts feel like something when they are fastened and if you aren't wearing one you should feel odd.

Blizzard games tend to have great voice work. Rockstar, as you mentioned with GTA, has probably been the leader in this stuff since Vice City (not saying that Vice City holds up particularly well now, but at the time it was top tier).
