Your house needs maintenance too. You're going to have to replace the roof and the hvac and the water heater, and do exerior painting and plumbing and so on.

For single family homes, the expense is less because a larger part of the value of your property is land which doesn't require much upkeep. For a condo, it's 70-95% building, which does require upkeep.

Single family homes require publicly subsidized infrastructure that condos generally do not (or do to a much lesser extent). Owners pay property taxes at the same % rate as condo owners do even though they own substantially more land. The value of single family homes is generally higher which makes it easier for owners to use the mortgage interest tax deduction.

These factors all contribute to why single family homes appreciate at a much higher rate than condominiums do.

The United States subsidizes fee simple home ownership to a ridiculous extent (in particular, single family detached housing), so it is really hard to justify owning a condominium. I have a townhouse.

I don't really see the need to brush again in the morning if I already cleaned my teeth at night and I'm just going to eat breakfast. I'll brush again if I need my breath to smell good for something.

When Cousins signed that contract, it was on the higher end. Not record-breaking or anything, but still high.

Giving up 2 first round picks and all that guaranteed money for any QB is a huge commitment. The Watson deal might go down as an all-time contract blunder so I don't know why it's "collusion" for teams to be wary about replicating it.

Either Age of Empires 2 or Awesomenauts. I think those two and Hearthstone are the only games I've reached that point for.

The "now and then" option is probably what applies best to me. When there's a competitive game that I'm into, I will watch the best people compete.

Unless it's a FPS because I find those impossible to watch.

My first exposure to the concept of elves was Treasure Mountain, and 30 years later I still think of those. They're closer to the santa elves than the Tolkien elves.

I watched FWWM before watching the return and am very glad I did. The Return won't make sense without it.

X and XII are both my favorites. V is the best of the older games, except that it has a couple of the worst tracks in the series.

Even then, sometimes you start playing a game and discover you aren't in the mood for it. I started Infamous 2 right after playing through the first Infamous, and discovered that I needed a break. Came back to it after 2 years and really enjoyed it.
