Well that's just a terrible use of English then. When you're going to use a pronoun like "that" it should be in use to what you were JUST talking about, which in this case was "a business."

Example:

KingBartz is a smelly and annoying loser. He's also a pretty nice guy, but I don't really mean that.

If your first assumption is that what I don't really mean is that you're a smelly and annoying loser, you're doing it wrong.

That sentence structure isn't even the same as or similar to what Obama used.

But you can go ahead thinking whatever you want. I mean it is funny to take people's quotes out of context.

Got to see the context in which that quote was said before I can judge it.

That quote is actually taken out of context, as "that" is referring to infrastructure. But his remarks preceding that are basically "you can't take any credit for your successes, so pay more taxes please."

Carson Dean Cheney, of Lehi, was with his family at the Glenwood Cemetery when the headstone, weighing several hundred pounds, became detached from its base and fell about 6 p.m. MT. The boy was pinned "for a time," until family members managed to lift the stone, The Salt Lake Tribune writes. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Park City police said Carson's family was taking pictures in the 900-grave cemetery when the headstone toppled on his chest and head.

Apparently they had time to take a picture of the boy right before the stone fell on him.

That's a really entitled opinion to have.

Somebody who works 40 hours a week doing manual labor at $7.25 probably needs the free time more than somebody who makes $15.50 an hour sitting around doing data entry on a computer, for instance. So I wouldn't expect the $15.50er to say their free time is somehow worth more.

I know you haven't replied and this has kind of been covered, but if you make more money, your time really is more valuable. That's why wealthy people have gardeners, maids, shoppers, etc.

If you make $100/hour, it's not going to make any sense spending an hour mowing your lawn if you can pay someone $20/hour to do it for you. If you only make $13/hour, then you will probably mow the lawn yourself because your time isn't worth $20/hour.

Prison populations and illegal immigrants. California spends $10 billion a year on prisons, which is basically a money hole. Illegal immigrants send their children to public schools, but don't pay back into the system.

Fire Red/LG is a good start. They took the original games and polished the mechanics, took out the glitches, and made the graphics very pretty.

Then I would move on to The Gen 2 remakes or Gen 3.

I don't think he was supporting the guy assaulting people on his property. But I think he was basically arguing that freedom of association is important. Ideally, a private institution should be allowed to provide or deny service to whoever they choose.

Can we seriously stop with the "developers get no money from used games" nonsense. It's one of those things that is technically true but totally missing the point. Although developers do not gain from the actual transfer of ownership from one party to another, "resale value" is a fundamental property of nearly all physical property that is sold.

As such, it is something that consumers consider when making a purchase, and as such, it is something that the developers DO in fact benefit from. The mere existence of such a large market for used games proves that many purchasers of games do so fully intending to resell at a later date. Therefore, if resale were not an option, game sales might potentially decline, or prices would have to be adjusted.

For example: If someone buys a $60 game with the intention of selling it for $20 a couple months later, that person is really only spending $40 worth of funds (ignoring the time value of money for such a small period and given the average gamer doesn't necessarily have a well constructed stock portfolio). Theoretically, if that developer were to offer the same game, only WITHOUT the ability to transfer ownership, that customer would only be willing to pay $40 for the game.

What if games couldn't be re-sold but cost $40? 2 people still buy the game, but the Dev gets $80 instead of just $60
