Despite being a Mega Man Battle Network veteran, I had a lot of trouble with One Step From Eden. Kinda disappointed me as it looks a lot like BN but doesn't really plat at all like it. Apparently the developers made the game without knowing of BN's existence.

None of the characters really jived well with how i play games. Where as in Slay The Spire 1 card decks were actually a viable strategy (idk if they are anymore).

There actually was one until last year (called GCL). One of the main posters had to go out and hack Microsoft's servers which eventually caused the site to get shut down. They all post on Discord now. The whole thing was an aboslute disaster and showed how humiliating most online communities were.

There are actual people out there who (presumably) have source code for Pokemon Green, but because they're in their little safe spaces, that information will never be brought public because it would have massive monetary impacts on TPC and Nintendo. With all of the reading I've done on /vp/ I assume they're either children or pedophiles.
There was one guy who would just spam threads with this picture of Donkey Kong over and over again saying "bayteh" if you brought up the Pokemon leaks. He still does it. I'm convinced that it's just one person, because who would do something so absolutely asinine? There was also some guy last week who was spamming a TCG thread (so it was always at the top of the listing) with pictures of all of his cards thinking they were worth money (Note: They're not).

I'm not really interested in "IRyS's first ara" or whatever meme shit that's circling hollolive this week. They also all play the same games so there's very little reason to watch any of them for the most part. I do enjoy Korone streaming every once in a while because somehow she's so entertaining when playing Mario that she breaks the language barrier.

There is some enjoyment in repeatedly watching someone fail at a game for hours on end, especially seeing their reactions, ect. but when this manifests as "X plays Oblivion 2 hours a week for 6 months straight", then yes, that's not interesting in the slightest.
