Man, this topic makes me nostalgic for playing MMOs. Just log in, do your dailies raid with your friends twice a week. Unfortunately right now WoW is a trashfire, FFXIV is weebshit, and everything else is limping by on life support.

This is my opinion too. I have been without an MMO for far too long. The only one I have played the past 5-ish years is Star Trek Online which is not trinity based and almost all content can be solo'd. I also created a bot which grinds currency for you. Wish that a new one would just come out because FFXIV isn't for me and I never played WoW because I didn't have a good PC when it was in its prime.

Raider would be better for TR (or even Ascendant Raider which is actually very strong but not something streamers run so people don't think about it). I did a Raider TR in Ritual and got to 93 or 94. I eventually abandoned the build because I didn't have enough DPS to kill Sirius let alone Maven.

Subreddit is suppressing all negative criticism. I posted several threads that got a bunch of upvotes and positive replies and mods deleted them all because of their ridiculous rules. Decided I had enough. They will suffer. I will not. Sad to see another game I play for almost 10 years go (last one was Runescape). Shame that Chris wants the majority of players to not even play the game anymore and instead watch streamers play. Game is way harder than it was when 3.0 rolled around, which is something that GGG will never realize. Back in a league like Harbinger anyone could pull together a random build and do all content, but now you physically cannot do that and it doesn't look like they care. It's just not worth my brain cycles anymore.

I'm kinda sad that nobody has caught on to NijiEN yet. Pomu is better than basically all of those EN Vtubers.

Today was my catch up day. Deleted my reddit account and I'm going to start using Discord as a replacement. Reddit is far too toxic and I only use it for a small subset of things. Also quit PoE (hopefully once and for all). I am still haging onto my STO friends, but still not playing for the time being (until there's enough of a meta shakeup or new content to interest me, they also need to unfuck their economy).

As for catchup. I still think that it's Wednesday, and I've also always been caught up on Dragon Maid, but I'm now caught up on Remake and about to be caught up on Kageki Shougo. Apparently the new Love Live season is on a short break so I won't get a new episode of that for a while. Might catch up on Aquatope too as I have some more free time without much to do tonight as well.

Some things in my head finally clicked and I realized I don't actually need reddit and reddit is inherently toxic.
I decided that basically everything can be replaced by just using Discord as a replacement. reddit is basically "boomer" at this point and discord is basically the forum rings of the early 2000s.

And the sad part is that I was a very early adopter of discord (like I was of reddit). Reddit has never been a good place for discussion, but discord? Hell yes.

FFXIV and MMORPGs are just a mystery to me. Never had issues playing with others, but I don't like to play with random people in organized group content that requires you to schedule when you do the organized group content.
And I've been playing MMORPGs for 20 years.

In PoE I am playing in a private league (although not in a party) where people just give away items to each other.
In STO I would always play with people from a specific discord.
The stuff I don't like is "party finders" or trading with random people in a large server (PoE's SC league) because it's extremely toxic.
I also don't do things like make Youtube videos because I don't want to get hacked/doxxed, because like you I'm in my 30s and have a life that could be negatively impacted by a little shit.
