Yes I have played every localized game.
I have not played Zero/Ao (I know two translations exist for these) and Reverie.
I own all but CS2 on Steam (which I own with CS1 on PS3).

How they did the ending is a bit meh. Kind of reminds me of the Persona series. It took me for a loop because I used the item despite getting all of the other triggers for the ending (Honestly that was the hardest fight in the game). I also didn't know about that going into the ending so I was thrown for a loop.

Negative nancy that spoiled something insignificant for me last thread I made about this beware.
I see this as a 10/10 game and fitting conclusion to the Cold Steel series. Exactly what I expected, except I thought they'd go a bit further with one of the plot points. My guess is that they continue it in Reverie.

It's a perfect game.
The problem is that it's going on 30 years old and you can only play it so many times in your life without getting bored.
Also it's the only game I have never heard talked about as being "perfect".

It's slower. A lot of people don't like a slower game. They did some bad takes when it comes to mana reservation (I've already played two builds to maps, one is 89 and another is 75). Neither of them really have the mana issues, however others do. PoE2? No they don't have any updates for that. There was a small one 4 months ago.

Yeah its crazy easy, I ran with Freezing pulse + holy fire totem + zombies/spectres and just obliterated everything. I think zombies got a huge buff since last I played as they got over 1k life almost right away (like before act II lol) and with 2 nodes giving em life regen (and me some as well (along with a buncha health nodes for me and more life regen) none of my zombies every freaking died. They don't go poof when you log out either etc.

It's a freaking cake walk but people are complaining, it's crazy. I played a lacerate max block build last leage and this is EASIER than that was lol.

I did Lightning Strike (lol) and I leveled Arc Totems, which felt slow, but I still got to maps in like 7 hours. I then transitioned Arc Totems into Doryani's Fist Totems, which was really cool but still pretty clunky. I want to try some other stuff too but I'm waiting for the meta to stabilize.

The Pokemon metagame is actually way more healthier than Yu-Gi-Oh due to its rolling banlist like MTG has.

I recently looked at some deck profiles for cards that came out in Lightning Overdrive. I like control decks so amazement was interesting to me (I like how it pivots around only 2-3 monsters and the rest are all traps that can be activated when they are set by their effects). Also the Live Twins because Vtubers.

But I haven't actually seen any of these crazy meta link climbing decks played (stuff like Dragon Link which was recently hit). I think they're the biggest barrier of entry, compared to other archtypes. Even Pendulum is not that crazy in comparison (I quit during the Synchro era due to not having anyone to play with anymore).

I've been trying to get my friends to play with me. Maybe the new game will change this (Although I really like YGO Omega for its Discord integration). Find things like Dueling Book don't translate well online (like actually physically placing cards and resolving effects).

There are a lot of videos out there that explain how Eva fucked up the Anime industry (for the good and bad). The reboots are there to make things worse. They really exist to both fuck up the existing continuity, anime culture as a whole, and to sell merchandise.

I don't see how this game is P2W (yet).
Played for a few hours last night and enjoyed it greatly. Dropped $10 and got the Battle Pass and Gengar. The Speedsters are so satisfying to play and I think they're supposed to replace Gankers in othere MOBAs. Zeraora is also very satisfying to play as well.

I have like an 80% WR btw.

I enjoy the game, but not against random people online. The problem is that my friends don't want to play with me. Hopefully the new online game is actively updated so they can be convinced otherwise.

I have the same issue with TCGO. For me growing up playing YGO (and Pokemon) was all about playing with friends as our friend group mainly revolved around it.
