I had the same problem.
I played a lot of Civ IV and Civ V, even some Beyond Earth, but I could never get into Civ VI, and I never got any of the expansions.

I claim that it had to do with me falling out of the 4x genre.

It's only fun if you're good at it.
Otherwise I'd compare it to something like Dark Souls. If you hit a wall, you hit it like a fucking truck. This league has some very hard content that there's no way I can clear. I don't know how others can do it. I just do not have the damage, and the amount of grinding required for me to brute force it, I don't think I could physically stomach.

This has been a very calm weekend. Late Friday night I got tilted in PoE, and ended up working until pretty late, but reworked a bit of my code that I was unhappy with (and it was a pretty calm experience). Today leveled my KDF Recruit to 65 in STO and got my now 54 characters set up again to grind currency. Wrapped it all up with Horimiya and Non Non Biyori Nonstop. I might catch up with Yuru Camp S2 tonight or tomorrow.

I want to watch a movie tomorrow night now that I'm not playing PoE (trying to take a break - the game was stressing me out). not sure what to watch, I was thinking of maybe The Wind Rises, or maybe a movie I haven't seen before.

It's not something I care enough about.

I think that K-12 needs some work however.
I remember that UMass's Tuition was like 1/10th of the total cost. Like it was 1.2k per semester, but the total cost of 1 semester was 12k or something (and that commuter). That's coverable with as part time job.

Obviously university prices are higher now.
