I've watched every moment of this.
I am not at all surprised at trump being "excited" during the riots, and calling Senator Tuberville to delay the election results while the riot was happening, going so far to have Rudy call him after to make sure he fell in line.

Half the GOP feel the need to hold on to Trump's voter base even though if they convict Trump it's not like those voters are going to flip Democrat

its almost like our constitution is hundreds of years old yet strangely revered as if it came from god instead of being viewed as a relic in desperate need of reform for modern society

The case against Trump is just incredibly overwhelming. His behavior has been atrocious, but the traitor party has been complicit and while Trumps base may be around 33% of the nation (those who consistently gave him "strong support") that makes up more than 50% of their party so they will betray the constitution and their oath of office to avoid being primaried by lunatics who would have a harder time winning elections.

Well shit, if you're going to go there, the only thing the first amendment applies to is handwritten parchment and movable type, the only firearms the second applies to are black powder muskets smooth bore rifles, and canons, and the only healthcare you're entitled to is leeches and bloodletting. If you need a limb removed or a bad tooth extracted, consult your barber.

They also don't need to wash their hands before reaching into a wound because "gentlemen aren't dirty".

Literally nothing trump said at that rally is speech that isn't constitutionally protected by the first amendment. And if questioning the results of an election is gonna be considered seditious... is that really a precedent you guys wanna set? Because you're forging a direct path to our government throwing you in jail for questioning the legitimacy of an election. And if that's the case, anyone who said Russia manipulated the election or questioned the electoral college system the last 4 years also would be a seditionist by that same criteria. Do we really wanna give the government the power to jail people for questioning an election? Think about that carefully before you decide that you wanna stick it to the people on "the other team"
