I've been monitoring their posting habits over the last year or so and it's becoming obvious that they exist only to shitpost and stir the pot here. All it would take to substantially reduce the noise is to require multi-factor authentication for logging in. There are third party services that provide that for low cost with easy implementation details. Duo is one of them. It could eliminate needing to track IP addresses for figuring out which user is which. Most people only have a single phone number, and it'd be easy to track problem users across multiple phone numbers.
