It kinda does. Either the standard is abhorrent or it isnt. Singling our one side for a general practice while ignoring the other doesnt make sense.

Its absolutely a valid argument if youre arguing that its abhorrent for one side, but not the other. If thats your criticism then it cuts both ways. At least explain what separates the two.

Say you're in court on trial for murdering someone. The evidence is insurmountable. The judge asks you to give your defense, so you say

"But the 9/11 terrorists murdered 3000 people!"

How do you see this scenario playing out for you

At least when it happens on CNN it's "because of technical difficulties" >_>

Fox News intentionally invites guests on just to mock them and shut them out. I remember watching one segment where they had invited a few guests to talk, in turn, about events in Israel.
I don't even remember who the first guest was. The second guest was pro-Hezbollah but his whole argument was "If people want to resolve the issues in Israel we have to include all parties including the Palestinians; it's not going to work if we exclude them from negotiations", and the host afterwards literally just spent the next five minutes berating him and calling him a terrorist.
Then the final guest was some ultra conservative guy that basically just said Israel needs to nuke Hezbollah and Iran and of course they let him talk and treated him with respect.

edit: It's all really transparent but unfortunately I guess regular viewers eat that shit up.

Its obviously going to be irrelevant in a trial. However, thats not the point Im making. Im not trying to absolve Fox of the practice. Im trying to learn what the standard of acceptance for the practice is. No one argues that the 9/11 terror attacked werent a tragedy. Im just trying to get an answer if the practice itself is unacceptable or not. If so, is it unacceptable when anyone does it?

Its absolutely happening in this topic. When someone makes the comparison that another network is doing the same practice its Dont talk about muh CNN!

I just want a straight answer if its an acceptable practice either way. If its not, then I dont understand why the practice itself isnt the issue of the topic rather than a specific network doing it.

Saying a thing happened doesn't mean that another thing doesn't happen, but that also isn't what the subject was about. One thing happening can be treated as being it's own thing as opposed to needing to show examples of it happening elsewhere, like that's some counterargument. If you're to suggest that there's a pattern of it happening in other places, that means you should be able to understand that there's a pattern that leads to that happening with the subject matter presented. And if it's a problem elsewhere, that should mean that the subject itself is a problem.

So, you feel it's being singled out, but that doesn't change the object that's being talked about.

I think the implication is that they go well beyond the average rate, not that no one else does similar things.

Anyway, it's pretty easily observable. You yourself could provide some counterexamples of people being critical of Trump and not having what TC described happen if you're to expect him to do the same, especially considering that you're the one disagreeing with him. If you're just saying that there wasn't enough effort put into the post, then just say that instead of being so entrenched on this... EDIT: and now I see that you agreed. Well, thanks for being willing to agree to disagree.

CNN is such a bad example of an anti-Fox News, because they go out of their way to have someone to defend for the other side no matter how dumb the issue is.

Like they seriously brought on people to talk about how Ted Cruz's father MIGHT have killed JFK just so that it didn't seem like they were being biased against Trump.

The real question is if TC actually cares about media censorship, or if he only cares that one particular group does it?

Because singling out just one, immediately makes you look biased. Because if you want to talk Fox News over-talking guests - which they often do, why not this as well:

CNNs well-documented technical difficulties:
