We've scaled down the size of them since then, and now they're only ~5x as strong as Fat Man, according to this article: Super-powerful nukes like the Castle Bravo and the B53 bunker-buster are no longer in the US arsenal the last of the B53 bombs were dismantled in 2011, Wired reported. The nuclear weapons in the US stockpile these days which still number around 7,200 are generally smaller, typically in the 100,000-ton range. Modern nuclear weapons are smaller and more easily aimed at strategic targets, creating less collateral damage than the mega bombs could have had. So even if the heat and power of one of those turbo-nukes might actually be enough to hurt Raditz, we're not likely to have any way of using something like that against him. There's also the fact that he can just shoot them out of the sky, or catch and divert them as they come after him. Dragon Ball Goku was more than capable of dodging and deflecting bullets. Raditz caught a bullet with literally zero effort. His speed is quite a bit higher than Goku's at the time, and Goku at the time was much stronger than he was while soloing the entire Red Ribbon Army. Ki control is a huge part of why the planet doesn't just blast to bits every time someone throws an incidental ki blast later in the series. Piccolo blew up the moon one-handed when he wasn't half as strong as Raditz. Nappa's attack on the city was controlled and pointed upward, so of course it didn't blow up the Earth. It was much, much more powerful than a nuke. Nukes leave some buildings and structural things behind. The aftermath of Nappa's attack had none of that. Yet Nappa, Vegeta, and their ships were both completely intact. He controlled the blast, but literally everything around them was flattened. That army was 99% composed of regular men with guns or their fists. Not saying he couldnt take out a conventional modern military, but the RRA was not the same as taking on most first world militaries.Nukes aren't fast enough for Raditz, I don't think. I got into the habit of watching adult swim at night again a couple of years ago, and it was pretty nice. The only reason I stopped is because we switched TV providers and I opted out of getting a box for my room because it would cost more money per month.

Now that we've reached this level of saturation in terms of yearly output as well as the total number of characters/teams/subplots/etc. it's hard to follow it all, and it's hard to really pick out the "must see" content from the rest. The current MCU has reached a point where it has the same problem as modern comics have had for decades. Too many series, too many characters, and not enough new and exciting ideas to keep people on the edge of their seat. I also think it was a huge mistake to go all-in on multiverse stuff. Also, it was several years after the 2008 one that I learned the two movies weren't connected. Marvel should have done a better job back then of making it obvious they weren't connected...They sort of were connected, at least in the broad scope of things. They didn't retell his origin story, and they picked up roughly where the previous one left off...though some of the details were a little different in the opening, you can basically watch one right into the next and you'll understand the story just fine. --- (He/Him) I write Naruto Fanfiction. Yesterday she was extremely confused, couldnt form a complete sentence, was trailing off and word salading.That's what happened to my Dad when he was having his first stroke. It's very scary, but from the way you describe it, she's recovered significantly since then.
