| Forceful_Dragon 07/19/21 11:57:27 AM #43 | That would be me. I was moderated 17 times for calling someone scum in a game of mafia. I was the cop that game, and I had scanned someone scum. So I contested 1 of the 17 moderations with a long detailed post about how calling someone "scum" in mafia is akin to calling someone as "goose" in a game of Duck, Duck, Goose. And then that 1 moderation was overturned, but they didn't overturn the other 16 moderations that were for the exact same offense. So I just copy/pasted my appeal and tried to contest the other moderations as well. Only to learn there is(was?) a hard limit of 5 active appeals at one time, so after I'd started 5 more appeals, I was going to have to wait to appeal the rest. Only to find out that they determined that appealing 5 identical moderations with 5 identical explanations was "abuse" of the moderation system, and they permanently took away my ability to contest moderations. It was a pretty big deal at the time with lots of people speaking out in support of me for having my account neutered for such a faulty reason. Ah, good times. --- |

A quick googling appears that Aerdrop recently had an upgrade, but that during the changeover they essentially did a reverse split of sorts so each individual token is worth significantly more than before, but everyone has less tokens in their wallet after the change to V2. Some/all of this could be wrong because it's based on 5 minutes of googling and twitter skimming, but there is definitely something odd happening. --- |

Now that isn't to say it can't be done at all, but I'm thinking something to add replayability would making it kind of like FTL with it's procedurally generated systems. You could still have some loose plot elements (such as the game starting because their squadron is tasked to hop through a wormhole or something to parts unknown) but then still deliver relatively fresh playthroughs for a long time before it starts to stale. :shrug: --- |

I was able to close a couple of my positions that I had doubled and quadrupled down on as the prices fell for small gains and then reopen those positions at my standard volume, but I still have a few others where the price is still just a hair beneath where I need it to be so I can close those as well. ADA to 1.43, DOGE to 0.326 and VTHO to 0.0074 will make me very happy. --- |

Yeah it will deform and may even explode when fired, but after looking into it it seems like some versions of plastic guns have survived up to 10 firings. The only metal required is the firing pin and the bullet and the gun doesn't really resemble a gun when is disassembled into its discreet parts so it can be assembled beyond security checkpoints. It's pretty scary stuff tbh. I'm not entirely comfortable with their existence. --- |

| Forceful_Dragon 06/25/21 10:26:22 AM #229 | it was more intuitive when the buff cards gave "+2/+2 to a Beast, Dragon and Murloc".  Y'know, back before they replaced them with the jugs/mugs. If you had 0 of those types filled and played the buff card you would get nothing, of course. And if you had 1 amalgam and neither of the others then it would get +2/+2. It would be pretty busted if it got +6/+6 every time by being able to fulfill 3 conditions at once. Instead it just becomes 1 tribe that isn't already present on the board for something like that. And this was back before Dragons were added, so you would often have a beast (hydra), and two Amalgams to get the most out of those cards. It's understandably less intuitive now that they have a LOT more tribes and you don't see as clearly how it's interactions track from the early days of the game mode. --- |

Here is what 5 has that the 4A 5G does not: -8GB of RAM instead of 6GB. -Wireless charging -90 hz refresh rate instead of 60 Here is what 4A 5G has that 5 does not: -Headphone jack. . For my wife's purposes she was not going to care about the functions she's missing out on so it's just $200 cheaper for the same phone basically, and she actually likes having a headphone jack so that's a big plus in her book. And they have the same camera which was her primary ask. --- |
