...not sure I agree with the support that Link to the Past is getting. I voted for LoZ for NES and OOT for N64, but I think LttP just doesn't stand out that much compared to other SNES games. Maybe it's important for the series, but not so important for the SNES, IMO.

....this wasn't even what came to mind for the "Legend of ____" prompt. >.<

I looked through my 3DS collection this weekend and turned on a couple games to see if there was anything last minute to get with Spotpass before that goes down...the only thing I actually got was a few weapons onto my end game FE Awakening save. I have no idea if I'd have access to that stuff if I started a new game...but I don't really have an intention of doing a replay or trying to do more postgame.

Dunno how much other games have stuff locked behind Spotpass.

I thought it was fun and kinda liked examining the video for inconsistencies. Though I suppose Spirit of Justice handled that concept better.

That last one is probably just my own bias, but it's really advanced for an NES game. Compare that to Donkey Kong which couldn't even fit all 4 levels in.

Not bad. One thing I think this case does do well is give us enough side characters that we cant deduce the culprit by process of elimination. Many other cases Ill often suspect someone not because they seem suspicious but because theyre the only reasonable option left.

Best answer I can think of is Killer Instinct. It was supposed to be one of the early Ultra 64 games but then they just moved it to the SNES when Nintendo 64 got delayed. The port isn't arcade perfect but pretty good.

I also thought of Street Fighter Alpha 2, but think the load times disqualify it. (I still don't understand how a SNES game could have load times)

Sonic 2 probably more popular than Sonic 1. PS4 is great and one of the most expensive games ever to retail above $90 IIRC. Dunno if S&K is counted with Sonic 3 or standalone, but the stacking nature of it with other games is memorable. I always wanted Streets of Rage 2 but had a SNES instead - played it a bunch once it came out on the Wii Shop.

Submit a bug report about the login system accidentally logging me in as admin and then go about my day.

(I remember that WAS an actual bug that happened to someone, I think in the CJayC days)

I've tried to go to Reddit in the past and I just can't. There's one specific gaming subreddit I go to, but otherwise mostly stay off, unless a Google/Bing search takes me there.

Gamefaqs I feel better about going to different boards, maybe because it's at least the trolling/arguing is more gaming related. And it's also small enough to not get lost and waste a bunch of time in the vastness of all the different subreddits out there.

I dunno, it's pretty solid for all the obvious reasons, but I have issues with it. The main one is that the stakes for this case are very confusing - we're not really sure if Ron Delite (jesus christ I almost just typed Ron Desantis) is the real Mask*DeMasque or not but like... in a way that's kind of confusing and deflating rather than cool? It's difficult to get behind defending him at first because it's not even really clear if we should be, or why Phoenix is really bothering to do it.

I agree and its one of the reasons I felt conflicted about Ron.

I think this case is underrated and kinda liked the whole circus theme and Moes jokes. Though it might be my least favorite of T&T. I liked the robbery and multiple trials thing but kinda didnt like Ron Delite and Luke Atmey as characters as much. (Yes I was kidding in that first sentence. I rated 2-3 lower.)
