It was a rum and tequila mix with a bit of citrus flavor. Not overly sweet (35%) but well spiced. Made amazing margaritas but was delicious straight too. One time I got a ride home from a party and I had a maybe quarter-full bottle in my bag, which I stupidly tossed out of the car because it was crowded and made it easier to get out. I heard the bottle break and I was like "fuck..." It landed upright though so it wasn't all lost. I drank a few more shots worth out of the broken bottle and went to bed. Next morning, there were maybe 1 or 2 shots left and I saw glass dust. I was like "ohhhh shit I'm glad I didn't finish it O_O" |

Another time I was hanging out with them and some of their friends and they had all these figurines on a shelf. I think he was showing off because company was over, but he just started casually knocking them onto the floor. |

I can only remember one time I did that and I was crashing at a buddy's place and he told "make whatever you want if you're hungry" before he passed out drunk. I couldn't find any cheese so I just made pasta with butter, salt and pepper. I was drunk too though so, maybe I could've seen what else he had on hand and like... looked harder lol. |

I spent quite a lot of time there as kid. It was like... full '70s. They sold it some 20 years ago. I still have dreams about once in a while even today. Even when I have dreams in settings that I've never been too, that color scheme is the most common one. It's very ingrained in my subconcious and that cottage is the only place I've been that has it. |

Unfortunately it's closed now and the owners fled the country. But it would have been a fun place to cause shenanigans, throw gang signs, etc. Sounds like it would be be right up your alley if it still existed. |

I didn't feel like waiting so my stepfather measured the windows, bought the blinds and installed them. I didn't have the patience >_>. Landlord is responsible for that though and so he reimbursed the cost of them (as well as bathroom fictures) so it was no big deal at all. He was just rushed for time. As it is, the renovations took twice as long as expected since the more he worked on it, the more he wanted to update, and I was patient about it and knew he really wanted to keep me as a tennant (and I wanted to stay for that matter), so all was well. I just wasn't about to go a day with no blinds though (it's 1st floor). |
