I gotta be careful with how I word this.

I have a 3 year old son. Can't say I'd be super happy if he turned out to be gay. I wouldn't throw him out, but I'm not gonna lie, I'd be a little bummed about it. There's definitely worst things that he could be.

Gay people out in the world don't bother me, and gay marriage and what not doesn't phase me. I just don't want it for my son. If he is, he is.

If you don't mind me asking, what scares you tje most about one of your kids possibly being gay? The lower chances of grandkids? Him being feminine or bullied for being gay? Or maybe something else. I'm asking as a bisexual who isn't out to his whole family yet.

A mixture of all those things. I would think that most people wouldn't WANT their kids to turn out gay. Aside from the appearance of being all super progressive, I can't think of a reason that people would be excited for it. I just mostly want him to have a normal life, and not have anything that could potentially be a detrement, especially depending on where you live.

Now, I know that he is a status symbol to some people, and maybe that increases his accountability, or whatever. So maybe that's why people get bent out of shape over what he said in private.

To be honest. I don't even really know what he said. If it wasn't a murder conspiracy, I kinda doubt that I'd be too worried about it, personally.

I get called a "nurse" at least two or three times per week, so I can attest that the stigma goes both ways and it's just silly. Nurses are extremely highly trained health care professionals, as are doctors. And either can be male or female.

I've visted many women doctors. Where the hell do you live that people are so foreign to the idea, that they mistakenly call a lady doctor a nurse?

On the opposite end of that, I've only ever seen 1 or two male nurses, out of the 100s I've seen.
