I don't really care what people say in private, recorded or not. If you do, then maybe you're the type that would be okay with thought crime being a for real thing. Like, some sort of sci fi device that records people's thoughts. If they think the N-word, they get in trouble for it.

On topic. It was a purposeful exaggeration, meant to highlight how I feel about the issue. What someone says in private, doesn't bother me all that much, recorded or not. Now, I know that he is a status symbol to some people, and maybe that increases his accountability, or whatever. So maybe that's why people get bent out of shape over what he said in private.

To be honest. I don't even really know what he said. If it wasn't a murder conspiracy, I kinda doubt that I'd be too worried about it, personally.

I dont get this at all. Is this because your are respecting his personal privacy? Or you just dont care what opinions he might have in his personal life?

A bit of both. If he would have said it out in the open, for all to hear, then yeah, I'd have a problem, espeically if he was unremorseful about it.

What people do in private is none of my buisness. Of course, exceptions exist. Running a child sex ring is obviously an execption. Someone saying something racist/sexist/anti-religion/whatever, and it happend to be recorded by someone? As long as it isn't in the extreme realm, like the above example, and it isn't about me, specifically... It's not my business.

I figured this was a common way to be, but I guess not?

This IS Hulk Hogan we are talking about, though. So maybe people are more concerened with what he says and does.

Just to clarify, becasue people LOVE to play on your words around here (they love that shit). I don't agree with what he said. I don't teach it in my home, as I feel that people should behave appropriately, in both public and private.

However, I still hold to the idea that your home should be a sancturary. If you wanna be a racist pos at home, then whatevs. Just leave that shit at the door before leaving.
