What do you mean by "wakanda/black panther thing"? I get why it's been very popular. But I don't understand why people are calling it a great film. I think it's actually incredibly mediocre. Like on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a score of 97%, which I don't get at all. But then again, I think the vast majority of Marvel movies are incredibly mediocre.

distance: it is around a 30 minute drive, give or take depending on traffic
length of visit: that also depends, but I would say we are typically there for around 3-4 hours, not including travel time and such

So 4-5 hours dedicated to each trip, including driving? Fuck that's a huge commitment of your limited free time for her to not be more understanding. I actually don't know what to tell you. If you can't get to an understanding over this, it could unfortunately be something that you might want to reevaluate your relationship over - which it sounds like you're doing.

That's a big fat depends for me. Lately it's been ~76, it'll cut down to ~62-67 in a couple of weeks, then back up to mid 70's in late March/April.

Then most of the rest of the year it's about 30.

I really like it, just got past the hotel last night. I have a few gripes that I can get into after work, but overall a great game with lots of love and attention poured into it, mostly good level design, and pretty good characters. Definitely worth full price to support the developer unless you're broke or a cheap ass.

Just don't consume the calories in the first place. Consume the amount you need
