I've gotten stuck in wrath a time or two but that's generally not the problem.

Generally the problem is one enemy is gonna deal 11 damage, another is gonna deal 16, and I've got one or two defend cards in my hand and that's it.

Coupled with insultingly bad defensive options like whatever that coin one is that deals like 1 damage and gains like 2 block, are you kidding me.

Wallop is one of the best block cards the Watcher has. Do you take that?

I used to have probably a 16 oz cup most workdays, and it was nice, but nothing special.

Now I make a conscious effort to have it only 2-3 times in a full week and often go weeks without. Now whenever I have it, it feels like a real boost - energy and mood wise! It also makes me think of my sister who had probably at least 24oz everyday until the doctors told her it was causing her palpitation problems >_>

Both of my grandfathers were beekeepers (the one was a high up voice in the midwestern beekeeping community), my dad is a beekeeper, my mom got into it to help him, and my sister and I were also getting heavily involved.

True, and this was one of the few cases it worked for you with your du Vu doll and shuriken. The issue is that silent usually lacks for strength gain

Ha, finally pulled it off. It was like a redemption run. Did the exact same thing and replaced my starting relic. Once again got the Bell. Once again got the Shuriken. Once again went for a Shiv build. Went much, much better. I even beat the Time Eater when he seems to directly counter this kind of deck. The big tipping point was probably the Shovel. Thanks to it, I had 22 relics on this run.

In the future, with that blad dance and cloak and dagger set up, upgrading After Image to become Innate should be an EXTREMELY high priority. Also in higher ascensions, you won't be able to get by without more defense and card manipulation. So that many blade dances won't work as well even though they're giving you strength a bit of defense w/ After image (after After Image is played). Also Riddled with holes isn't... great.

It doesn't really matter, if I am at the office I can come and go as I need or want. I work from home often, even before COVID, and i'm paid salary without set required hours. I just have to get the work done as needed.

Me too. I'm just "supposed" to work at least 7.5 hours in a day. There are days where I don't take my lunch/work through lunch and only put in 7.5 hours at the office (pre covid), and there have been days I take a two hour lunch dicking around with coworkers or doing something with a friend and end up staying a bit late (definitely not 2 hours late though, lol)

Act 3 elites are huge deck checks. Reptomancer requires a lot of front loaded damage, because block scaling her output is practically impossible. She actually used to be a hallway fight with half the daggers. Giant Head is a measure of scaling, and Nemesis is sort of a freebie.

Nemesis is a check on hand manipulation: can you block on turns you need to block and attack on turns you need to attack? It is generally easier, though.

I have found Ironclad to be the easiest to get deck screwed on. Especially in Act 1. May just be my bad luck.

It's not luck you're just bad (unless you're like ascension 17 or above). I'm not trying to be mean, but this game is a lot less RNG based than it feels. Also how you succeed in act 1 is by dealing lots of damage with basic attacks - Ironclad is second best in the game at that, so I would suggest you should reconsider how you're building your decks in Act 1.

It seems like a high opportunity cost to go from training to be a Nurse Practitioner to software development. I know sunk cost fallacy and stuff, but still years of your life would be down the drain. If Nurse Practitioner works out, I'd call that like a 9/10. I have an aunt and sister who went that route and seems real nice.

However devoting that much time to that much training and nope-ing out to something completely unrelated? That would be like 5/10.
