I would say I like what I like, I don't put a lot of stock in "keeping up with" whatever is popular.

Gaming I have been enjoying the latest Yakuza game, I know some of the other new stuff coming out, but no plans to go out and play it. Most of my gaming outside of a few select things usually happen well after the hype has died down.

I used to pay attention to TV, but I lost interest after a while. In fact, most of my TV watching is on YouTube at this point.

Music, I have some bands I'll listen to when their new stuff comes out. If I like it, it will go into my rotation. If not, I'll just move on to something else.

Movies, I just don't watch that often. I watch maybe one or two a year at the most. I don't think I have seen a single movie in 2020 to be honest (new or old).

Comics I probably keep up with the most, but not as many as most fans. The only ones I really keep up on currently is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Daredevil, and Black Widow (Punisher and Elektra would be on that list as well if Marvel was doing anything with them). A lot of my comic reading otherwise is trade paperbacks and omnibus collections.

So I guess if I put them in order, it would be:

1) Comics/Books
2) Video Games
3) Music
4) TV
5) Movies

I usually add about half a cup of hot sauce when cooking Mac 'n Cheese. I know some people add a little bit of mustard, but I just like the burn of hot sauce instead. That is really the only weird combination I do.

The only other thing is when cooking a pot roast I replace all of the water with wine (doesn't have to be good wine, you can use the cheapest stuff you can fine). That isn't weird though, that is literally the best pot roast you can ever make.

I think streaming services for gaming are more likely, and even that is several years from being mainstream. All digital gaming was a thing all the way back in the mid-90's, and it is only just starting to become the main way to play games. Streaming services are only a few years old at this point, so I don't expect them to take over digital for another 10-20 years at least.

And yea, once everything is streaming then hardware won't be as important since you would get the same gaming experience on a phone hooked up to your TV that you would on your high-end gaming PC.

Same, "homework" in college made sense and actually helped understand the subject material. Plus they gave you more then just one night to get it done (typically a week or two).

I'm satisfied, but the company I am contracting for is in the process of writing up an offer for me to work for them full time. I might take it, but there are several things I want to see in that offer, main one being that pager rotations are voluntary and merit based. I spent 11 years carrying a pager one week a month, and my main reason for being a contractor was so I don't have to do it again. If I do decide to go on a pager rotation, I want to be compensated properly for it.

I had one department I interviewed for say that was the case, but I want to make sure I get that in writing (since I don't plan on volunteering for that anytime soon, unless I want some extra money).

I like it, but not as much as I liked 0 or the Kiwami's. Most of it comes down to the battle system (I liked the brawler style combat over turn based), and part of it is that the mini-games are kind of lacking, specifically the business management one. I just don't like it as much as property management or Hostess club management from the other games.

Still, I have over 75 hours into it already when I am only halfway through the story so I can't complain THAT much...

Wouldnt you think that there would be more overall deaths in total this year due to the pandemic?
I think it would require more studies (which any scientific person should understand). The next logical step for me would be to analyze the cause of deaths by the numbers and see if those have changed at all. Like are their less car accidents and murders because people aren't going out as much, yet more deaths by natural causes?

I think it's BS personally because games going back to the NES, SNES, N64 (some N64 games) did retail at $70-$80 if I recall correctly but for the 8 and 16 bit era, games generally ran $60. Disc based games PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn etc usually went for around $40-$50 if I recall.
Something to keep in mind too is that the physical medium the games were on covered most of that cost. A cartridge on average cost $40 to make, and in the SNES era some of those cartridges cost upwards of $60 due to special chips and expended memory in the cartridge. CD was cheaper, but still had a pretty good sized overhead early on. Nowadays you don't need to worry about that due to digital. So in essence, game prices have been keeping up with inflation, just consumers haven't seen any difference until recently.

Conversely, look at comic books. If they followed inflation, then the 10 cent comic books would be about $1 now, but instead they are $4. Why? They use more expensive materials. Instead of being on cheap newspaper they are printed on higher quality magazine print. That is why you see a huge jump in comic prices around the mid-late 90's. And between the 30's and 60's when comics stayed 10 cents? They just kept reducing the number or pages until you had the 24-32 page comic standard of today (10 cent comics of the 30's were typically 64-96 pages)

I think I'd actually say heavy rain. Heavy snow's honestly not that bad. All you really need to do is slow down and avoid making sudden movements, and pretty much everyone recognizes that and does it, so it's pretty easy to adjust for. Rain, on the other hand, limits visibility, which is a lot less intuitive to account for, and its impacts on handling are a lot less predictable (especially with rougher roads where you lose the ability to tell which puddles are deeper), and it's generally less common for people to slow down significantly (unless it's really bad) so adjusting for it means being hyper-vigilant.

Clearly you have never driven in a white-out snowstorm before. At least with heavy rain you have a vague idea of what is in front of you. White-outs give you no indication other then the brake lights of the car in front of you.

I remember it being unclear what the ending conditioned were. I wonder if anyone has gone through the code to figure out exactly what each one requires.
They are a bit ambiguous, but the endings are based on your actions. In other words, the endings mirror your actions throughout the game. For example:

The "Maria" ending requires you to care about Maria, by staying close to her during escort parts, or returning to her location every time she dies. Conversely, the "Leave" ending requires you to do the opposite and not show compassion for Maria. The suicide ending requires you to do things that would make your character seem suicidal, such as examining the bloody knife often or not healing yourself when low on health.

Then of course the "extra" or "joke" endings are pretty obvious, they just require you to pick up certain items or enter certain areas not normally accessible.

I don't think anyone has found the exact conditions for the main endings, but as long as you do what the ending is expecting you to you usually get it pretty regularly.
