I dont know if anyone else has said this yet but you really need to shift some of that money to a over a HDD unless you are planning to have both. Its a huge upgrade over that 7200 and well worth the price. I have 2 SSDs and a HDD

She asked why men dont seem to want to date single moms. (She isnt single or a mother lol) We we gave our input and it kind of ended up like this topic but siding more why most of us didnt want to date single women. It was a busy topic so I decided to post it here.

Yes. You are both right. Because its my life. If I dont want that in my life then thats my choice. Questioning my ethics because I dont want do something for someone else that effects my life forever in the future is BS. No one has perfect Ethics but criticizing others for that is absurd.

There are starving children in Africa. If you have the money/assets to sell/donate everything and fly over to Africa and save lives then why dont you? Why dont you give up everything for the cause of helping others even if you dont want to? Is that absurd? Of course it is. However, Im not going to criticize someone for not making their life horribly inconvenient to help someone else.

This isnt like someone on the side of the road needs help changing a tire in the rain. This decision will completely change your life forever if you get married. If you decide to move on with that while not caring for the kid emotionally because the kid isnt yours... Was that really the right decision for anyone? The only thing you would be doing is making your life worse to benefit other people. Thats long term too.

If you want to do that then thats fine. There is nothing wrong with it. Criticizing others for not wanting to do that is what is getting me. At least respect that decision.

What annoys me about some people in this topic is that they wont even just respect the opinion of not wanting to raise someone elses kids. Saying you wouldnt mind raising someone elses kids is fine. Criticizing others and acting like something is wrong with them for not feeling that way is what bothers me. Its like these people are judging mens character for not wanting to raise someone elses children.

People that defend this are the worst kind of scum. CLEARLY it wasnt an accident. Pausing the video right at the start proves it. He came around a very wide curve so he could clearly see a head of himself for a long distance. There were 3 cars making a blockade that he drove into the shoulder to get around. This usually is a very rare occurrence for me but I saw it coming before walking in this time. Its raining pretty light where Im at. Ski just threw on my New Orleans Saints hoodie. I also have a custom Saints mask. Both are black. (Oh Im black btw)

I wasnt even thinking about it until I pulled up at Walmart, put my mask on then put my hoodie up. I looked in the rear view mirror before getting out and thats when I knew. Of course I took my hood off when I got inside. I was doing self checkout, which are the majority of checkouts now a days, and half way through an older lady that worked there walked and told me they had to check my things. I wasted a good 10 minutes letting them clear me. I didnt make a scene or anything because I didnt want to waste time. Plus, thats not my style. Just let people do their job and go on with your day.

Its crazy because as soon as I looked in the rear view mirror I knew it was going to happen. I was so confident.

Where is he searching for a car? If hes in the military there are alot of car places that are super predatory near bases. But with his credit hes not going to get a good line anywhere most likely. Dont cosign. He needs to get an older reliable car for much cheaper. If you cosign chances are high that he doesnt pay on time and you take the hit also.

He was looking at cars in his hometown since his brother recommended a place. That was the only place he was looking which blew my mind. That was before I learned everything else

He is in Romania right now but he is coming back to his station in the US on July 12th. I guess he doesn't need a car while on base. Everything is in walking distance right? I'm not a Military guy so I don't know. Still though. We are from the South. There aren't as many places that have public transportation so we feel stranded without a vehicle. I'm not sure how public transportation is in Fort Hood Texas though.

i actually think he makes more money than me which is crazy he is in this situation. He is in the military as well if that can help him. So is it best just to go after a $10,000 car or even less for now and make sure to not miss a payment? He really screwed himself selling that car he had. It was a good car too. I wouldn't have bought it though because... It was a Cadillac. They are know to cause problems and that's what it did. Now he wants a Honda.

My friend wants me to cosign on a car for a 2018 Honda Accord. The one he was looking at was around $22,000. All he asked was me to cosign. I got more info out of him and the dealership originally wanted him to make a down payment of... $9500... $9500!! What?! That is 43% of his total amount! I've never heard this before! He told me that he said he can only put $2000 down and they required a cosigner. I asked about his credit and he said his credit is 602. That doesn't seem... great...

What advice should I give him on this? I'm assuming I can't cosign with a credit score that low. Mine is in the 700 range. I think it's over 750. I can't remember since I checked for the first time almost a year ago. I'm not that experienced in this tbh. I'm trying to gather as much info as I can to make a good decision for me and to especially make a good decision for him. Maybe he should buy a much cheaper car and work on his credit?
