It might be harsh, but yeah this is the way to do it. If you truly don't want yourself entangled, just don't text. She'll get the message, and I hardly think it's ruder than saying "sorry, this can't continue, I'm blocking your number" and actually going through with it because nobody does that.

Oh, and sorry to flood the topic, but is there a way to power the console on/off, manually put it in sleep mode, or even access the main console menu using a GameCube controller while playing Ultimate? I have to walk up to the console to do any of that stuff. Pretty annoying.

I've actually had everyone unlocked for a while, but almost all my time has gone to Link, Snake, and Cloud. I feel obligated to at least learn Shulk cuz I'm a Xenoblade fanboy, and that might take forever.

And yeah, I was shocked when it said 150, though I've barely turned off my Switch since getting it. I let it idle into sleep mode all the time, which I'm guessing has inflated the play time since it really doesn't feel like I've played near that much. I only got the 100 online matches achievement recently.

Also, general question here - if all Rock would have done was kiss her and then leave due to his guilt, would you still consider that cheating from her perspective? What if Rock had left before her obvious advances had gotten physical at all - would she still be a cheater?

Not sure how much stock you want to put in that statistic, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were actually higher (since infidelity is one of those questions people are likely to lie about, even under anonymity). And that would mean it really could be "most people" who cheat. I've had a few candid conversations like this with friends (bar talk), and once the first brave soul admits "yea I've cheated", in come the flurry of others who do the same. I don't think it's something the average person's proud of; maybe the reassurance of its commonality helps assuage them of the guilt, I dunno.

There are also degrees of infidelity, obviously. Actively pursuing and fucking a married person is a much more flagrant example of it than making out with some stranger at a rock concert, which in turn is a more flagrant example than flirting with a stranger without ever touching them - but I'd argue even the last one is a violation of a partner's trust if they're not cool with it.

I know I'm not the only one. The catalyst for their messy divorce was him discovering her boffing some other guy. Anyway, I'm probably the one with outside the norm beliefs here, but I've never thought of adultery to be a guaranteed relationship-ender. Somebody made a mistake, but people work through other mistakes all the time.

If I found out my gf cheated on me, that would be a serious conversation - I doubt I'd just kick her out of the house, but the prevailing attitude I've seen online is that infidelity is worthy of judgment and scorn usually reserved for things that are much worse imo.

Trivial complaint, but I'm surprisingly bummed that they will never be able to recreate the magic of Melee Captain Falcon, who's probably the most fun "feeling" character in Smash history when you figure out how to competently play him. Melee knee might be the most satisfying move in any video game for me.

I'd be stunned if we got Joker-level reveals for every DLC. That would require them working with third parties four more times, as I don't think any first party character can garner that level of hype.

And the less likely it is they'd get other Square characters (considering how difficult it was to reacquire Cloud), the further Nintendo has to reach for big additions.

Agreed. I went fully off the rails during my first playthrough and loved it, but you'll get useful stuff much faster if you generally stick to the main quests for the first 10-20 hours.

Then during my second playthrough, I got every Korok seed before stepping foot into a divine beast because I'm a psycho.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy. I love this game so much that despite just getting a Switch with Smash and Odyssey, I'm considering re-purchasing it on the new system and doing playthrough #3 before I start Odyssey for the first time.

I played for the first time since Christmas Eve, when I took my Switch to my parents house to game with my brother. We were using a top-of-the-line monitor with practically no input lag. I've gotta say, it does make a difference when compared to my big TV. I might need to replicate that setup if I wanna get serious about online play.

Regrettably, I don't know much about the occupation despite being an Arab born in the Middle East. I was hoping you'd share your perspective rationally, and maybe tell us what some Palestinians think, provided you know any. I don't know any Palestinians. I know a few Israelis from work and school, and my anecdotal experience with them is that they were polite to me but seemed to casually regard Arabs as lesser humans, so the point they'd express surprise when I had the capacity (and kindness) to help them with school assignments.

45 leaves too much percentage on the table. 45/30/25 puts both of them a little too close to Link for it to be realistic. We're only three years removed from Link putting up 70% on Sonic; he won't wilt all the way to 60% on MMX, who most people here consider a hair below MM Classic anyway.

I'm not raining on Draven's parade - it still WAS easily the strongest any contest entrant had ever looked, but I doubt Link would have had trouble at least hitting 50% in his place.
