Really going to miss Metta. No idea why he decided to quit. No idea why Omarosa didn't just put Ari up as a pawn to get rid of Brandi, either, seeing as Ross would save Marissa too.

Brandi's eviction speech was phenomenal. That close-call Veto was incredible, too. I'm really liking this season still. Hopefully tonight's result doesn't change that!

LOVE that they're bringing back the Veto Vote from BBCAN3. I am personally hoping it's the VIP after having watched last night's episode. Forced-use is great, too, but it just gets Brandi taken down in favor of Marissa and doesn't ultimately change the outcome. Diamond could shake up the game and all but, y'know, if someone who isn't a nominee wins it...

And Brandi is playing the hinky vote horrifically. I was hoping she'd lie about it and try to set James up with it. She wasn't doing it as intelligently as I expected. NO comparison to the Alex Willett move. Still great TV though.

I was on vacation this weekend so I didn't get to see Friday's CBB until now. Man, do I hate Shannon so so much. Her entitled attitude made her a sheep - she just wanted things to fall into place for her and couldn't accept being nominated like a crybaby. Her being all LameJokeAlt to ChenBot is making me want more meat, too.

This is also the best season of Big Brother US in years. It's not as good as 6, 7, or 10, but is in the same top tier. Biggest reason for that is the cast.

Ranking the cast right now, before tonight's episode...

2. Metta

Fantastic Tier
3. Ariadna (she might be playing the best game right now)
4. Brandi (unexpectedly good player - who would've thought she'd be the one to pull the Alex Willett hinky vote for drama move?)

7. Marissa (it feels so wrong to have her this low)

A 3/10 game like this needs a lot of fixing.

-No Fi
-15+ hours shorter (too much filler! Remove the unnecessary fetch quests before getting into a dungeon in particular)
-Better characters (Groose is the only one worth a damn)
-More intuitive motion controls (or none at all), improve the calibration if kept
-Add warping to any entry point
-Make it a game instead of a guided tour

"Really" doesn't describe how smart he is. Jeff Probst said that James tested as having the highest IQ the show's ever had. That's like 536 people!

He's already warranting Yul comparisons, which is extremely complimentary. His IQ and demeanor might intimidate the crap out of people and it would not surprise me if he's voted out for "being Yul."

It might be hard for you to watch it since this season is fanservice. If you don't have much Survivor watching experience, you might be a bit lost with the theme...

Yeah, I'm not feeling Shannon. When she was running shit, she was a badass. All of a sudden, they recognize that she's a threat and she just breaks down and cries. Great way to get yourself evicted. She should recognize it as a compliment and that, if she's truly not aligned with James... throw him under the bus. Make new deals. Save yourself.

I think she sucks. Why is she still in first in the Jokers poll?

Metta is, hands down, the best character this season.

And he's getting the hang of this. Just awkwardly staying in the HOH room to prevent the person you KNOW is going for you from talking to the HOH is brilliant. Either you're asked to leave, which confirms your hunch for sure, or you can convince the HOH to do what YOU want once they leave. Win-win.

And yep, Shannon figured this out. Too bad she's wussing out.

I know I've been vocal that I don't like Kaoh Rong, but I think it's a strongly off-putting season to newbies, because of both the MedEvacs and two of the most despicable bullies in the show's history getting the last laugh. It's not a good first season.

Marquesas, China, Philippines, and MvX are all good choices.

I dislike that Shannon is a LameJokeAlt vegan type. I love it when she gets electric with her commentary... but she doesn't always. She might end up having mixed feelings from me.

Omarosa... I've hated her for a long time, but her portrayal this time is refreshing. She's genuine, but not vile. Yes, she was scary at first, but seeing her vulnerable is so new and different that... I don't know what to think. We'll see if the vintage Omarosa comes out or not...

Metta is a horrible player but is great TV. I like that archetype. Adds something to the season. Is usually feeds gold.

I'd like to thank the person who PMed me to take him off of ignore. For now.

I made it pretty clear that Nat psychosomatically saved my life. I don't even understand it myself. It was during the whole Second Chance voting thing, where I was a complete mess, but... somehow Nat's appearance on RHAP got through to me and kicked my ass to push harder and try to get the most out of life. NOBODY had gotten through to me like that before.

Oh, and I told her about it. She actually REPLIED to my email, too, and was extremely flattered. So yeah.

I will continue saving Nat. Period. End of story. If you don't like it, too bad. I WILL keep doing it until you let her back in.

Depends. If they insist on being a bigot, then yes, it's a dealbreaker. If they're more open-minded and, with the right prodding, can realize that others' sexuality has almost no bearing on them - just who they can date - then it's not.
