Taking a risk here, but there really aren't too many good choices here. Even without Aaron Donald, I don't see the Rams having too much trouble with the Luckless Colts. Pagano has never won a road opener and I don't see that changing with Scott Tolzein at QB (I'm a Packers fan. Trust me, I saw it firsthand.).

Rumor has it quite literally all over the place, with 3 writers that supposedly wrote each act independently.

I could easily believe it, this is 100% what it feels like. Each act independently is pretty great, and the cast stays golden throughout, but being so completely disjointed really brings the plot down overall when you pull back to look at it.

I've heard those rumors as well. It would also explain why the backstory of half the cast isn't quite there and why there aren't that many great scenes of chemistry between more than two cast members. I personally feel that the cast is pretty weak aside from Yuri, Raven, and Judith.

Vesperia has some of the best gameplay in the series, but its weak plot, criminally underdeveloped cast, and lack of motivation for the cast to be traveling together really don't serve it well. After I wrote the sticky topic for the board, I didn't keep going back to it.

Micronesia is one of the best Survivor seasons >_>

Game Changers is tough to place. While it did have Queen Sandra's shenanigans and some other cool things early on, those were overshadowed by "THAT," too many twists, and an obvious winner's edit. I'd probably put it in the bottom third.

Also, started up this year's AUS Survivor. Episode 1 thoughts:
Holy shit. A TIE? Because of Luke's trolling? XD, that is GREAT. This is going to be a CRAZY tribe - thinking they're all going to point fingers at each other.

Maybe I'll need to start watching Survivor AUS. I did watch the premiere of the first (or 3rd?) season. Seemed promising.

Do it. I did so earlier in this topic and enjoyed it. That was last year's season (people argue as to whether it's the first or third season all the time). I plan to start up this year's season soon, since I'm no longer following Big Brother. As someone that's going to watch it, I think you should absolutely watch last year's before starting this one.

It's four years of being fed up in a row for me. BB15 was the last time I was thoroughly entertained - a bunch of assholes sending each other to Comeuppanceville was quite a bit of fun and the gameplay was stellar. BB16 had Derrick - a great but dull player - squashing any drama, plus Frankie and a very boring, predictable game. BB17 was, as Tangy said, a cast of people that were either gamebots or fun people with no game. BB18 was pretty eh and BB19 is pretty unbearable because of its unlikable cast, with King Paul ruining the potential of his minions. It's a shame that, when you think about it, the best season of the past few years was online only >_>

The more I think it over, the more I think I'm done with Big Brother for good, unless we get another BB10 "Back to Basics" sort of season.

South Pacific was worse than that, if only because Redemption Island had an incredible first four episodes and hysterical merge boot but is utter garbage otherwise, while South Pacific had a grand total of zero watchable episodes and an even less likable cast than BB19.

I am done watching BB19, though, and unless the winner is miraculously someone I find acceptable, I will never watch BB US again. I am at my breaking point and I think many other people are, too. We're never going to get back to the BB we used to know.

If Mark wins Veto and makes a deal where he takes Whistle-Nut off and, in exchange, gets protection from him and replacement nominee Alex, that might also be epic. If Mark, Whistle-Nut, and Paul convince Josh or Kevin to vote out DoorMatt over Alex, we might have a new two-sided battle on our hands. I hope that happens because this season needs it badly.

Who says I won't still be listening to RHAP? The LFC is usually better than the actual show.

And I want the season to be interesting. Having a minority win HOH and stage a coup would make the season interesting. But nope, we have more time with the assholes and the morons. More predictable boredom.

It's not "rigging" to change the competition order. It's not guaranteeing any outcome, nor does it give Marlena a significant advantage. It just allows for an even playing field to make it so they don't have insanely long odds. The entertainment value of the rest of the season is at stake.

Let me be honest: I didn't watch tonight's episode of BB19. I knew what happened on the feeds already and it did not interest me the way prior events did. I WILL be watching BB19 tomorrow night, because DE, but this might be the last straw for me depending on how it crumbles.

With BB, I can read Jokers while at work and watch clips online at home. Can't do either of those with AUS Survivor. It's more of a convenience thing.

I will watch AUS Survivor 2017 at one point or another, but again, I'm pretty busy right now. It took me a while to make any progress on last year's even when a castaway followed me on Twitter and told me to get on it. I enjoyed it a lot, so I know I'll enjoy this year's. But right now, that's too much of a commitment for me, just like watching BB19 episodes has become.

As I was saying weeks ago, Jess & Cody are not good TV. They suck tremendously at BB too.

They are good TV. They ARE terrible players, though.

Jessica was one of the only people this season to have balls - like she dropped the bomb that she had a superpower on the live show, stymieing ChenBot. She then messed it up by telling everyone what it was, instead of making them all paranoid about it.

It's good TV to watch someone have the fortitude to stand up to bullies. Bullies are not good TV.

But as a whole, this cast just sucks, sadly...

The problem is the rest of the house wants Cody gone, too. They have no reason to want him gone other than the pettiness Paul has tricked them into. If Paul's side doesn't want Cody, then Mark, Elena, Matt, and Raven should create a fivesome with Cody and evict Whistle-Nut (if he is still on the block). This will create two sides: One of the showmances and one with Paul, Alex, Josh, Kevin, and Whistle-Nut. Christmas might be a free agent.

Also Veto spoilers: Matt won Veto, but apparently since he's too stupid to know what show he's on, he's using the Veto on Whistle-Nut. I would adore it if this happens, then Cody, Mark, and Elena turn Paul's group against Matt.

I don't know what information you're going off of, but Paul legitimately wants Alex in the F3 with him (he cam talked about it), so Alex isn't going anywhere so long as Paul keeps control.

Must've been a mistranslation... as in, someone was lying to Jess and Cody that they were gunning for Alex next or something like that. I don't recall.

Tony, Sandra, Cirie, Boston Rob, Parvati... and RHAP's own Rob Cesternino would all get voted out early just for wearing a buff. All legendary for how they played the game. And the reason why several of them have said they won't return to the show is just that: They'd be gone early by reputation alone.

Other notable hall of famers:
Rupert is legendary for his polarizing personality - he's a provider, too, and not known for strategy.
Ozzy is also a provider and is an asset at pre-merge challenges, plus is the perfect meat shield.
Amanda hasn't played in years and, despite holding the streak of 108 days before being voted out, could do her thing again.
Jonny Fairplay's "my grandma died" lie is the stuff of legends now, but everybody playing hard would consider to promise on something meaningful to them. I doubt his reputation precedes him.
Cochran is a clear production pet and they would refuse to let him go early.
Kim Spradlin only played once and is not as easily recognizable. If it was all veterans, they'd be scared of her, but she could still play them. I'd say her chances of making a merge at 13 are better than several others.

I gave up caring about BB19 this week because this cast is made up of people I don't like (Paul, Raven, Josh, Alex, Christmas, Cody), people who barely exist (Matt), and people who I am too torn about to invest in due to their good actions being outweighed by their bad (Jessica, Kevin, Mark, Elena, Whistle-Nut).

At this point, it's like BB15 all over again, but I am more indifferent toward this group as opposed to infuriated. I do hope that we get a fun comeuppance-fest in the coming few weeks, because my apathy right now isn't helping.

wtf is this filler episode doing here (Survivor AUS, last year, etc.)

What is Survivor without a vote-out? This is even worse than the "kidnapping" thing not leading to a vote-out (they should've had to vote somebody out after Sue was kidnapped). They come to Tribal and play Majority Rules, only... we don't get to see everything? Wut? And it's all just for reward? They destroyed any buildup they had. Again. Every episode of Survivor needs to have a vote and/or elimination (MedEvacs/Quits count as eliminations). I was fine with the "Oh right, I forgot, you guys were voting someone to join the other tribe." thing - that was a vote, that was dramatic, and that was interesting. It isn't like "We're not voting. Kidnap somebody." or "we're just having a challenge." I hope season 2 is shorter in terms of episodes so we don't get filler garbage.

Oh, and this challenge is garbage since El didn't get to strike back because she was "out" even though she still got it right. The rule is, you get it right, you still get to whack even if you're eliminated because it's not fair to get it right and not get to hit. Turn order should not be important.

But anyway, the final 6 is supposed to be an exciting time in Survivor. This was far and away the worst final 6 episode ever, simply because nothing happened.

Two more episodes of last year's Survivor AUS down!

Sucked to see Jennah-Louise go out - and just as I was starting to like her, too.

Then, in the episode Machete said where things get fun, it was AWESOME. It was absolutely delightful to see that cold bitch Brooke get backstabbed by her BEST FRIEND in the game! I now like Flick again - she showed poise and, even though she overcredits her own move (no, this is not a better blindside than Ozzy's in Micronesia or J.T.'s in HvV), she made an actual big move that I never anticipated her making. Brooke was talking about "making a big move" with her core alliance of four taking out someone outside of said alliance. Um, sorry, but that's not even a remotely big move. In fact, it's hardly a move at all.

Brooke got what she deserved for being so stupid, arrogant, and bossy. "No, Sam, you want to vote out Lee." Uh... you know that, to be a good Survivor player, you have to convince them subtly so they think it's their idea as opposed to just giving orders, right? Just telling people what to do is going to make them feel uncomfortable with their position in your version of the alliance. I did not like the tactic when Hantz did it, I don't like it now. I don't get why people were so impressed with Brooke as a player. I wasn't. Her taking charge of every vote was not done in an effective enough way to ensure her longevity. Her iron-fisted nature made her ripe for blindsiding. Boston Rob and Kim Spradlin were far more effective at ruling an alliance because they made their allies feel like their opinions mattered, even when... they actually didn't.

And although I was not impressed with how she set herself up to be a prime target, other people seem to think she's a good player (I did like her move to convince Jonathan to fork over her letter from home and she'd end the challenge, though). Plus, imagine what happens if Flick and Brooke are on the same tribe again... they're not going to get along anymore, are they?

Aww... Earlier today Christmas seemed to be really into the idea, and was talking about it with Jason and he was on board too.

Hey, there's four days, so things can change. It would be a way more interesting season if Paul wasn't going to get his way for once. Or if Josh, say, backdoors Paul. Or Jess convinces Mark to use the Veto on her ("if you use the Veto on me, Elena is going. You'll be safe and you're not going to end up on the block again." But would Mark be that stupid? Doubtful, but who knows with him?)

One more episode down. (Last year's Survivor AUS) SO STOKED J.L. won immunity. I can't fucking stand the likes of Brooke, Flick, and El at this point. They are like "She's an idiot, challenging us! How stupid, selfish, and entitled can you get? And openly rooting for Matt at the challenge only fueled J.L.'s resolve. Sam is a horrible person, as I've already discussed. Matty the Mentalist is a complete moron for ratting out someone who offered him final four - can't he take a hint that Brooke and Flick have been lying to him? Lee bores me. Because they're entitled, they want a Pagonging so badly, which only makes them intolerable. They're not good TV! This group of five is an even less likable alliance than Zapatera - none of them want to win, they just want to be buddy-buddy. They can't do the math and realize that only two people can sit at the end. For some reason, they're just being sheep - even Sam the Snake (who takes every opportunity he can to attack Nick - what, does he not want jury votes?). Therefore, I can only root for J.L., Sue, and Kristie. Since one of them is gone, J.L. is the only one I find remotely rootable right now.

Anyway, with another person I started liking going out, I am done. I am not returning to this and am just skipping to next season - not even bothering with the finale. I can't stand the sight of people worse than shit (Brooke and Sam - hoping that one of them falls in the fire) anymore. I am pretty certain J.L. goes next. But even so, this is the least likable final eight I've ever seen. Worse than Thailand or South Pacific, yes. Many of these people just want a Pagonging and are just "WHY DO YOU CHALLENGE ME? YOU NEED TO BE A SHEEP!" and that's the type of player I can't stand in Survivor - the ones that openly say that and get angry when things don't go their way. I much prefer manipulators that convince others to unwittingly be sheep - ones that try to right their course when things go awry, as opposed to complaining - without outright saying inane things like "She should have just accepted 7th with us, that's so good!" This is like the "Cool Kid's Table" sort of thing and the fact that that group continues to get its way means I am done. I am sick of this. I have not enjoyed this season since the waste of an episode that was the "kidnapping" twist. I've given it enough chances. I know who wins. I've wasted enough of my time.

However, let me ask one question that may change my mind: Does something big happen in the next episode? If yes, I will keep going. If no, I will save my time. Thanks.

^I tried another episode. It's only getting worse. Kylie was one of the most rootable people left, and now we're left with the most unlikable final 9 I think I've ever seen. Brooke is an arrogant meathead spoiled brat who thinks people should just bow to her. Flick is a sexist who also thinks people should do whatever she says, wanting a boring Pagonging. El is their invisible flunky who doesn't offer anything to the show. J.L. won immunity and nobody cared because she's bland, too. Sam is a piece of shit who bullies nerds because he's "macho." Lee is... boring, too. Sue is... kind of rootable, but rather forgettable. Kristie has fallen behind the scenes, which makes for an underwhelming winner. Matty the Mentalist is the most interesting one left, and now he's in a minority and is probably the next to go. Whoever I am rooting for always seems to go home these days. It's frustrating the crap out of me to see the bullies always get their way. This is exactly why I didn't like Kaoh Rong....

Sam is an absolutely horrible human being. HE is the snake, HE is the petty one, and HE is the one who can't get over himself. Just WHAT did Nick to do him - kill his family? I can't fucking stand him. What a piece of shit. The way he treated Nick was just disgusting. He was another jock bully ganging up on the nerd and lording over him. Easily one of my least favorite people to ever play Survivor.

Now that my favorite to make the merge is gone, I am not rooting for a single person. I am rooting against pretty much everyone - there are horrible people like Sam, arrogant and then there's nonentities like El, Sue, Jennah-Louise. Thus, it's probably better to save my time. What say you guys? Is the rest of this season interesting enough to not skip seven episodes?

What the hell are they thinking in targeting NICK? 1) Nick has an idol, so if he plays it, you're SOL for the rest of the game, 2) it's BROOKE bossing all of you around, and 3) the threatening alliance is Brooke, Flick, and El... and they don't trust Nick. The lack of strategic thinking here baffles me. Instead of trying to earn Nick's trust to be able to use him as a vote, these bozos tried to just vote him out when he's paranoid as can be. He naturally played the idol. The very idol they could've used to their advantage. Appears he didn't need it.

Sam could have instead targeted one of those he'd anger the most. Brooke would be the most ideal - she's the one bossing people around and the one who won the first individual immunity, plus it's breaking apart the trio trying to run shit. Splitting her, Flick, and El up should be priority #1. Vote Nick out and they're not going to trust you, because you lied to them even if they wanted Nick out anyway. If you're going to flip, take out the person in power, not the guy on the bottom with the idol.

I find this final 11 to be mostly dull. It's sad considering how great the pre-merge was. But like I thought would happen, I am at very slim pickings for favorites. Nick is the only very rootable person I still have, since Flick is getting a little cocky (Brooke, however, is getting REALLY cocky). Kate was one of the most developed people there and now she's gone.

Should I just fast-forward to the finale? Or do things get better from here?
