Trophies and Achievements also killed cheat codes, I think most games actually disable getting either of them if it's not a "cheat" code that's not "unlocked" during regular game play.

Also the MediEvil remaster has a trophy for trying to input a cheat code from the original game >_>

https://time.com/5756091/kentucky-senate-race-amy-mcgrath/

Calling her partys victory in the Kentucky governors race a jolt of momentum for her own bid to unseat a Republican incumbent, Democrat Amy McGrath on Friday officially filed to challenge Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in what looms as a bruising, big-spending campaign next year.

McGrath, a retired Marine combat pilot, touted many of the same issues health care and good-paying jobs that Andy Beshear highlighted in ousting Republican incumbent Matt Bevin in last months election for governor. Beshear ran a great campaign that focused on issues that hit home for Kentuckians, McGrath said in a phone interview with The Associated Press.

It absolutely gives us momentum because it shows that against an unpopular Republican incumbent, a Democrat can win, McGrath said. And we win by talking about those bread-and-butter issues that Kentuckians really care about.

And thats what Im going to be talking about over and over again, she said. With Mitch McConnell, were not going to get any progress on these things.

McGrath became the latest in a crowded field of candidates from both parties to file for McConnells seat. McGrath, who lost a hotly contested congressional race last year, has shown her mettle as a fundraiser, raking in nearly $11 million in her first few months as a Senate candidate, giving her a huge advantage over other Democratic candidates. McConnell has his own bulging campaign fund.

Another Democrat, Mike Broihier, also filed Friday as a U.S. Senate candidate. Broihier is a political newcomer with a broad resume as a Marine officer, farmer and small-town newspaperman.

Broihier also listed health care and the need for more good-paying jobs as key issues.

Voters are energized, he said in an interview, adding that the coalition that put Beshear in the governors office is raring to go again in the Senate race.

As the most powerful Republican in Congress, McConnell enters the race as a strong favorite in his pursuit of a seventh Senate term in 2020. The Republican senator touts his leadership position and his ability to deliver federal money for the Bluegrass State. This week, McConnell said he had a direct hand in securing $400 million for a new veterans hospital in Louisville, $25 million to fight Asian carp in western Kentucky and coal miner pension and health benefits.

McGrath tried to blunt that advantage of incumbency.

Kentuckians know that his job is more than just bringing a check to Kentucky, she said Friday. Where is his leadership on saving health care? Where is he at with the rising cost of prescription drugs? Why hasnt he done anything to stop the trade war thats hurting farmers and businesses in Kentucky? Wheres he at with raising the minimum wage?

Its nice that hes getting money for Kentucky, but the rest of the job is so important, she added. And its actually bigger and broader and hes failing at all of these other things.

McConnell campaign manager Kevin Golden fired back, saying: Amy McGrath knows she cant possibly make a cogent argument that she could do a fraction of the good Mitch McConnell does for Kentucky, so shes left with this disjointed, half-baked justification for her candidacy that is simply not ready for prime time.

McGrath said Friday she would work to strengthen the Affordable Care Act. She said she supports adding a public option to the health care law to give people the choice of buying a government plan, much like I do as a military retiree. She also stressed the need for action to lower prescription costs.

In another jab at McConnell, McGrath said she supports term limits. She said theres a real disconnect between McConnell and every day Kentuckians.

On the issue of impeachment, McGrath accused McConnell of shirking his constitutional duty. She was referring to McConnells comments that there would be total coordination between the White House and the Senate over the upcoming presidential impeachment trial.

McGrath said it was premature to say whether she would support the presidents acquittal or conviction when the trial takes place. Senators should review the evidence and then make a judgment, she said.

Trump won Kentucky by a landslide in 2016 and will be a prohibitive favorite in the state next year when McGrath tries to dislodge McConnell. The Republican senator touts his close ties with Trump from passing a tax overhaul to confirming conservative federal judges picked by the president.

But McGrath sees an opportunity to win over Trump supporters drawn to a political outsider.

If you want more of the same, Mitch McConnell is your guy, McGrath said. He is the ultimate insider. He is the epitome of dysfunction in Washington. You cant drain the swamp, as President Trump has touted doing, without getting rid of Mitch McConnell.

It has a lot in common with Shenmue 3 when it comes to ignoring 20 years of quality of life improvements. It's still fun but they really did just update the graphics. Gameplay is straight from PS1

Which is worse when you consider that MediEvil was already considered clunky even when it first released...like goddamn if it was already below-average then it's going to be even worse if you just straight keep it the same now.

Like it was kind of the same problem I had with the Crash trilogy remake, where they kept the same shitty jump mechanics from the original.

Guys they're not worried about 5G interfering with actual water vapour, they're worried about satellites not being accurate enough to always differentiate between the two because the "signal" from water vapour is extremely weak and there's enough variation in the signals that they wouldn't be able to tell with 100% certainty that a 5G signal isn't actually natural.

You get swarmed by enemies and they'll damage you simply by touching you, and it's not because physically contacting them is supposed to hurt you, but rather it's registering an attack without showing an attack animation.

Also I swear in the original you used to be able to stagger enemies that were charging at you if you hit them with your sword? Now nothing happens and they just keep murdering you.

https://earther.gizmodo.com/trump-wages-war-against-the-true-enemy-of-the-state-le-1840611817

Upgrading lightbulbs is one of the easiest, straightforward ways consumers can reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. And yet the president of the United States is determined to do everything in his power to ensure our individual emissions remain as high as they can possibly be. And that means finishing his war on lightbulbs.

The Department of Energy announced Friday a final determination to keep standards for incandescent lightbulbs as is because this is the world we live in now. Who cares that they emit more heat than light or die quicker than more modern bulbs like LEDs?! Who cares that theyll help you save money on your energy bill?! Who cares that theyll help make buildings more energy-efficient in the long run?! Who the hell cares!?

This is the mentality of Donald Trump, who has ranted that LED lightbulbs make his skin look orange. The dude always looks orange. This is the orangest man who has ever lived. But OK, sure. Whatever.

The Department of Energy announced it rollback noting that the now rolled back lightbulb rule wouldve driven up the price of incandescent bulb more than 300 percent. Which yes, the rule wouldve forced incandescent bulb makers to innovate while trying to lower costs. Thats how good regulations ensure the market works. Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette in a statement accompanying the rules change that [i]nnovation and technology are already driving progress. The rolled back rule wouldve sped along that innovation but OK, sure. Whatever.

You know what I choose to light my home? Philips Hue Smart Bulbs. I dont have to worry about them making me look too orange because I can make the light any color I want. Oh, and energy-efficient LED bulbs like mine save me nearly five times the annual savings than if I were using whack ass incandescent bulbs.

The Department of Energy itself has said energy-efficient bulbs can save homeowners $75 each year. Incandescent bills will cost, on average, about $4.80 a year in energy costs. LEDs like mine? A dollar! These newer bulbs do cost more upfront, but the average person doesnt have to be a bougie bitch like me and buy smart bulbs. Buy a regular-ass LED! And save money on your energy bill!

Were also already on track to convert to LEDs around the U.S., as Trumps peeps were sure to note. By 2035, LEDs should make up 84 percent of all lighting.

The consequences of this rollback wont make or break the fight to protect the planet, but it will make the transition toward energy efficiency that much longer and harder. The announcement feels oddly timely as people celebrate the holidays with extra colorful lights decorating their homes and yards. In fact, all the energy we use lighting up our cribs for the holiday season results in more energy usage than some countries (such as El Salvador, where my roots lie) do in a year! A year! Thats insane. And yet another good argument for why LEDs make sense.

So whats the issue then in ensuring incandescents dont take up space in our store aisles? What is your obsession with lightbulbs, Trump!? And why do you hate the cool new ones so much?

I truly dont understand, but I guess the president loves doing everything possible to continue his war against the planet. His latest battle with lightbulbs is just a small piece of that.

The only way to know this is if you come up with unexpected or missing heritage (even this wouldn't be 100% indicative though) or if your grandfather or one of his siblings or that sibling's kids/grandkids also had their DNA tested and it doesn't connect you.

E: Not only that, AncestryDNA can't pull up exact relations anyways, it does everything as "cousins". For example my aunt (mother's sister) is my closest match, but she's still only listed as "Close Family - 1st Cousin", and my Great-Aunt (dad's mother's sister) is only listed as "1st - 2nd Cousin".
