A couple years ago, I went on this date with this weird nerd girl, and it was an awkward experience where she did 90% of the talking, and told me she was talking so much because she was nervous, and then at the end, I thought we would both accept that we didn't have much chemistry, and she was like "I had a GREAT time!" lmao.

I could tell she was a freak but she was afraid to let the flag fly. We dated again after but I didn't want to have sex. Was too weird the first time.

She left notes on my door for weeks and wanted to show me how to do reikei so I finally acquiesced to a date. We went out to the mall and just hung out. She swore every three words and we didn't really have much common interests. She kept trying to get me to go downtown with her and buy drugs but I didn't want to.
We ended it pretty awkwardly as I wasn't really in the best of moods and she was really weird.

Anyway she moved on to the guy next door and ended up breaking down his door with two other dudes one night and beat the shit out of him for drug money. It was pretty scary cuz I had no idea what was going on.

Yeah. Most recent was 3 years ago. I was 32 and she was 29. Pixie cut, MFA degress, and a published poet. She had some cool tattoos and peircings too. But she had anxiety issues.

We got to know each othet over a month or so. I asked her out and she said yes. Night before the date, she texts me a bunch and cancelled due to anxiety. I peaced out at that point, but she started talking to me again.

I we agreed to go out again. She went through with it. We had lunch and then went to a farm for a harvest festival. Left there and went for a walk and then pizza and beer. It was actually my favorite first date ever.

The night ended well and she wanted to see me again. Two nights later, she pretty much loses it and it got weird. I awkwardly phrased something and she went off on me. Then complained about it on tumblr directly quoting the exhange.

We have talked once since.

Brilliant girl but had some weird hang ups and odd personality quirks. I really liked her.

I traditionally liked eccentric art school girls. It never goes well though. I realized I mistook quirks and brooding for emotional depth. That is not the cae.

After the MFA girl above, I seriously dated a nurse prac. She was artsy but extremely grounded and practical. I broke up with her over preassure for kids and her slightly too practical lifestyle.

I realize now that slightly dorky, but cheerful and outgoing smart girls are my best match. Not the brooding weird artists, introverts, or practical types.

I dont know if this counts as weird. I went on a blind date with a lesbian who had not yet come to terms with her homosexuality. It was pretty obvious from the start that the date was going to be a waste of time. My buddy, who set me up with her, didnt even seem to notice that issue. I think he was doing it as a favor for his date, who was best friends with my date. Anyway, the date felt like how I imagine it would be to date your sister.

Edit: The date was weird, not the girl.

My first "real" girlfriend, as in the first girl I got properly physical with, was weird as hell. Bipolar, multiple personalities (which I'm 99% sure she faked, but faking it is just as weird), strange kinks, the works.

She was fun, but also crazy and emotionally abusive.

all my dates have been nightmares.... I'm 34 and I've been on maybe 14 or so dates? It's a low number I know, but the dates I've been on have put me off from dating. One chick threatened to kill me if I ever cheated on her(3rd date), another showed up at my house and proceeded to nearly die from an alcohol induced seizure(only for me to find out she had 4 different ID cards in her purse when the emts came to revive her), and another said she wanted to chop up her coworkers in the company meat grinder(she worked at a chicken packaging factory).

I thought I found a really great girl, only for her to decide to "try and make it work" with a guy who only wanted to see her when he was pissed drunk. I don't understand women..... the ones I've seen just make me question whether or not I should be dating at all.
