The service industry is notorious for simply giving a server less shifts when they request the restaurant make it up on the back end. It's why servers dont do it.

My mother worked at a very famous place in Boston and recalled the owner having a all employee meeting essentially berating them and threatening whoever ratted him out to the Better Business Bureau or whoever handles that

Most servers who've done it long enough will tell you about days its literally cost them money to go into work, but they know complainig about it only hurts them in the long end, hence the high turn over in the industry

Locking things down will stop the spread but its no way to live forever.

When you reopen its going to spread exponentially because that's what viruses do.

I personally think nothing can actually be done and the vurus is just going to run its course. I dont think mask actually protect you. Of course it offers some protection but the way i see people post its like they think masks offer 100 percent protection.
