This is just a bone he throws to people who aren't his audience. His actual audience hears him loud and clear, and doesn't think they should have fired the racist.

Having a racist writer, and pretending it had nothing to do with a show where he regularly spits inflammatory rhetoric, is just an insultingly obvious attempt at deceit.

You don't have to "pretend you're holy" to not be racist. Not being racist is a fucking baseline standard. If you can't help that, if you think it's okay to be racist, you're trash.
