I think it's unfair to list him as anything other than "Joker".

It'd be kind of like having Robo in the contest and calling him R-66Y. Only if R-66Y was never actually mentioned in the game, and was only mentioned in say.. Radical Dreamers.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Jacksonville Jaguars LOCK
I'm not sure Bortles being benched will light a fire under him. Or the offensive line in so dire need of help. Or the defense that was once strong that's now pathetic.

Baltimore Ravens @ Carolina Panthers
Homefield advantage is strong this year.

Denver Broncos @ Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs are looking at that Homefield Advantage they'll need to take down the Patriots.

Cleveland Browns @ Pittsburgh Steelers LOCK
Not the Browns.

Seattle Seahawks @ Detroit Lions
When in doubt... pick the home team.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Cincinnati Bengals LOCK
When in doubt... pick the home team. Again.

New York Jets @ Chicago Bears
Bears probably have this one.

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants
The Giants are still awful.

Indianapolis Colts @ Oakland Raiders
Do the Raiders miss Del Rio yet?

San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals
Am I really picking the Cardinals again? Well, they do face the jimmy G-less 49ers at home. So yes, I am really picking the Cardinals again.

Green Bay Packers @ Los Angeles Rams
Rams may be the best team in football right now.

New Orleans Saints @ Minnesota Vikings
Vikings at home makes this match a bit less interesting.

New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills
Oh look, the Bills.

I feel like what Ashethan's doing is the opposite of "getting it" because this kind of nitpicking of "you aren't being accepting in the right way!" kinda does make you come off as finding new and inventive ways to be outraged, which does much more harm than what little good clarifying that one detail does. Particularly because in many cases you're probably correcting to the choir.

I feel like you're not 'getting it' at all, because my point is that it doesn't matter if it's a choice or not. You shouldn't discriminate against people's choices either. People choose their religion, and we all know it's not okay to discriminate against people on that basis. Or at least I hope we do.

I think 2010 and 2012 and 2013 are missing.

Of note: If you picked the home team in every game this year, you'd have 65 right, which would put you in 6th place. If you picked the home team every week, and ALSO picked the Rams in their away games, you'd have 69 wins and be in 3rd place. If additionally you never picked the Bills or Cardinals to win you'd have 74 wins and be tied for first place.

My main problem is that it's literally 2018 and having weird hair colors is considered 'socially unacceptable' Same with piercings and (some) tattoos. (obviously, offensive tattoos are a problem)

There's a lot of things that are considered socially unacceptable in some circles. Being an atheist is socially unacceptable in a lot of places. A lot of people have said they wouldn't vote for an atheist. Atheism is something that's easy to hide. A lot of people pretend to be Christians. It's easy. Just throw on a cross necklace and memorize the name of one or two chapters of the bible to quote as your favorite. "Yeah, I really like Psalm 137:9". "Merry Christmas!" "I love Jesus." "God loves everyone."

I guess I was just raised to really believe "Don't judge a book based on its cover" And I really don't think "It's socially unacceptable" should disqualify you from a job unless it's an action that directly affects another (IE you're a murderer or a convicted child molester)

Actually, I find it kind of offensive when people keep saying "Being gay isn't a choice".

Because: Even if it were, that still wouldn't make discriminating against them okay. It's like saying there's something inherently wrong with being gay, but it's okay only because they're born that way. When it should be okay regardless of if they were born that way or not. I don't think the implication is intentional or meant. So I wouldn't normally address this. But in this case, I'm going to.

It doesn't matter if being gay is a choice or not. "They can't change!" is kind of suggesting there's something that needs to be changed. That there's something wrong. When there's nothing wrong. Not just because they were born that way (appeal to nature) but because there's nothing wrong with it period.

Maybe you should be advocating for these descriminated LGBT people having a hard time getting a job instead of worrying about people who want silly hair colors having a harder time getting a job when literally all they need to do to schedule a hair appointment to fix it.

This is the fallacy of relative privation. One could take this a step further and say "Maybe you should be advocating for those LGBT being murdered in Iran and Iraq instead of worrying about people who can't work for certain companies because fo their sexual orientation." And in fact is often taken to that level. How do I know this? Because I've long advocated for those discriminated LGBT people in companies, and have dealt with such arguments in the past.

Unless now you're implying being gay is a choice, which doesn't sound too progressive to me!

You literally said, "It's not socially acceptable". Being gay -- choice or not, and I don't think it is since my sister's wife is a lesbian who underwent conversion therapy and I know she wouldn't 'choose' to be gay if she could choose because it was literal torture---was not considered socially acceptable and still isn't in some places. You've now decided to bring choice into it. Being transgender -- again choice or not -- is considered socially unacceptable in many places. Just because something is socially unacceptable doesn't mean someone should be discriminated against. It doesn't matter if it's a choice or not. You shouldn't discriminate against someone because they are a Muslim--even if they can choose another religion.

Nobody in the first world will discriminate based on your innate hair color. That's not a thing and its disingenuous to suggest that anyone ever would.

So it's okay to discriminate because it's not 'natural'. Seems to be along the same lines as people saying it's okay to discriminate against gay people or transgender people.

Nazi? No. Discriminatory? Yes.

It wasn't socially acceptable to be gay at one time, and it shouldn't be okay to refuse to hire someone because they are gay. In some places it's still not socially acceptable.

If you're judging someone by their hair color, I'd prefer not to do business with you.

So it's okay if a company only hires Blondes? Or requires people to dye their hair blonde? That seems to be giving way too much control to a company.

Dress codes are a lot different. Once you go home, you can wear whatever the fuck you want. The company has no say once you leave the building.

Personally, I wouldn't want to sell to someone who refused to do business because one of my employees had pink hair.

Also, I seem to remember a country doing something like this. Where they viewed people with a certain hair color in a certain light. I think it was blonde hair. They needed blue eyes too I believe.

Hope she's added to Smash Brothers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons
The Buccaneers early success looks to be over.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Cleveland Browns
Still have zero faith in the Browns.

Indianapolis Colts @ New York Jets
When in doubt... pick the home team.

Seattle Seahawks @ Oakland Raiders
The Raiders are really going to regret hiring Jon Gruden.

Carolina Panthers @ Washington Redskins LOCK
Panthers should be the better team.

Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans LOCK
I think the Texans have this one.

Arizona Cardinals @ Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings DID lose to the Bills. But I don't think the Cardinals are on track yet.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals
Bengals are at home, and probably the best team in the NFC North this year.

Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have fallen a bit this season.

Los Angeles Rams @ Denver Broncos
Rams may be the best team in the NFL right now.

Baltimore Ravens @ Tennessee Titans
Going against conventional logic when it comes to the Titans.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Dallas Cowboys
Jacksonville's defense should make the Cowboys hurt.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots
And Kansas City falls.

San Francisco 49ers @ Green Bay Packers LOCK
The 49ers just lost to the Cardinals.

Don't forget getting upset over terms like "Black Lives Matter" or black people kneeling in peaceful protest.

"LOL SJWS are so easily offended! What cuck losers!"

"OMG SOMEONE IS NOT STANDING FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM! I AM OFFENDED!"
"OMG SOMEONE SAID HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I AM OFFENDED!"

...yeah, they're really thick-skinned there. Can handle pretty much every offense except the ones they don't agree with.

Grand Theft Auto V.

Persona 5 would get it if the cast had a bit more chemistry and you didn't have a cat telling you to go to bed early every time you wanted to do something. Still a great game, though.

wait, is it good to have less tie breaker points as opposed to more than another person?

You want a higher number. My spreadsheet sorted wrong for some reason.

Apparently, according to Republicans, geography matters more than individuals.

50 million Californians are worth less than 10 million South Carolinans. Seems kind of a stupid philosophy to me.

You know what I never want to hear again?

Republicans pretending to care about Transgender people assaulting people in the bathroom. They don't believe women who say they were assaulted at a party by a man dressed as a man. So they don't get to play pretend that they care about sexual assault by going after transgender people ever again.

George Soros can pay for it. No, actually, I'm pretty sure that if the left used the money they spend on poltiical activism on this issue, they could easily cover the travel expenses of anyone who wanted an abortion.

If Conservatives just used all the money THEY spent on political activism, they could create a foster care system that doesn't suck.

This is actually probably true. Women in blue states will have no issues getting an abortion, but those in red states will have to deal with every single restriction a Republican state rep can dream up - 14 week limits, heartbeat bills, hospital admitting requirements, everything possible to make it hard to obtain an abortion and nearly impossible to keep an abortion clinic open.

Despite their campaign rhetoric, Republicans don't actually want to overturn Roe v. Wade - it's too useful as a tool to rile up their base at election times, and there is absolutely nothing they could do that would inspire greater turnout among Democrats. Nationally, abortion will remain legal on paper - it's just going to be extremely difficult to get one if you live in a state with a Republican-dominated government.

I'd argue this is actually worse than overturning Roe v. Wade. Voters are way too complacent as long as it does not affect them. They can place laws that put abortion clinics out of business while keeping Roe v. Wade to call for "OVERTURNING" to bring out their base while not actually overturning it which would drive up liberal turnout. Just look at how we allow these Crisis Pregnancy Centers run without any regulation.

People often ignore that which does not affect them. Which is why so many people could oppose Same Sex Marriage so easily. Didn't affect them at all.
