Hi Susan! It's the weekend for us. :)))

Have a great weekend.

This weekend one of the nephews is visiting so we're chilling out in our pajamas eating pancakes and playing video games.

Thanx!

Nice! Sounds like a lot of fun! I'm visiting my parents and sisters and it's just relaxing and videogaming too!

Although what happened was extreme and I wouldn't condone it, he should've just paid it.
Money matters strains any relationship.

Friendship and other intimate relationships are based on trust and mutual respect.

Anyway, perhaps they were more of frenemies rather than real friends.

Mornings. There's something so soothing about the morning air and gentle rays of the light that just mesmerise. I usually wake up at 5am; whether it be a weekday or weekend.

I can never stay up late. :/ I can stay awake (with a struggle) up to 1:45 am. After that, it will just be painful headaches and a zombie-like demeanour.

As I grew up in very hot and humid conditions, I'd say I prefer the cold.

Cold weather would mean layers of protective clothing and accessories. The effects of the cold can be delayed and/or mitigated.

The problem I have with heat is that the effects are almost immediately felt. It's not just the heat but the humidity and the hot air that comes with a breeze. It feels physically painful to feel the air and the sun on my skin. I literally feel my skin being fried as I walk outdoors. It also means (although not necessarily and may depend on what time of day you walk outdoors) that I'll be exposed to UV rays. ://// Not fun at all. I'd have to wear a loose mumu dress that's white, wear a hat and have a water bottle with me.

I'd prefer the cold. :/

In the desert, they wear black(like black robes). It apparently works well...

From where I live, black is worn by women and white by men. For me, I'd still wear white.

True.

The problem in this setting is that although technically since they are both in Italy, they aren't breaking any laws.

But they are both American and clearly the laws there are different. What about the older man's upbringing? If he grew up in America then he'd certainly know that getting intimately involved with a teenager is illegal in his country. It would/should also make him emotionally uncomfortable.

So with that said, he'd be legally and morally conscious (from his American POV) that sleeping with this teenager would be illegal/immoral were he in America, but nuts to that since he's in Italy(?).

Hmm.......from that perspective, I'd feel a bit weird watching it.

Interesting little tidbit. Sex tourism is actually illegal as a citizen of the US. If someone were to book a trip to Thailand for the purpose of doing their pervert shit with a minor, they and anyone who helped facilitate could get busted for trafficking.

Great to know.

And that's actually the problem I have with this movie. The older partner is more mature and physically and emotionally in control in this scenario.

Not in Europe lol. Either way, you gotta just watch it. It is about as healthy as a relationship can possibly be.

look idk what "europe"'s opinion of grown men sleeping with teenagers is but europe isn't a single entity and i feel like lots of countries wouldn't agree with a 24 year old man trying to fuck a 17 year old.

If you really want to go there, only 3 countries in Europe have an age of consent of 18. In Italy it is 14.

Don't say that like it's a good thing.

Many gamers are casual gamers. They don't play competitively (either with others or just as a personal challenge ). They play the game, finish it and move on. Maybe this is because a lot of them simply don't have the time to invest in mastering a particular game and see it merely as a momentary distraction from the stress of life and work.

Alexandra_Trent
01/16/18 7:06:08 AM

I only ever got that from my father. It's just patting it twice. No hair ruffling or running his fingers through the hair.

He still does it every once in a while. He does it as an expression of fondness. I don't mind it. But of course, he's the only one that I'd allow to do that to me.

I don't particularly enjoy being pat on the head nor do I particularly dislike it. I'm okay with it because it's my father patting me. It's more of me tolerating the action and appreciating the meaning behind the action rather than disliking it because it feels condescending.

90+ for both.

Mum is doting on her children. She's loving, tender and fun at the same time. She can be your stern mum when you need guidance and direction and at the same time be your girlfriend when you need to chill and hang out. She's got great fashion sense that she can relate to a lot of things even in this generation; makes for great conversation. She's my best friend and a very empathic person. Love her.

Dad is serious, protective and corny and cheesy at the same time. He's well versed in a lot of things; medical, pharmaceutical, electrical. He's very handy and well-read. So he always has something interesting to say. He's trilingual and I always thought it's awesome. He's a great conversationalist and quite charming. However, he's a know it all and can be sarcastic. He can be overprotective. He's very conservative and has very strong opinions on what roles a man or woman should have.

Both are deeply religious and devoted to God. But they aren't saints and they know it. Despite this, they always try to be the best person they can be; the best parent they can be.

Both consider family to be the most important thing in the world; second only to God of course. The values they stress on are sacrifice, perseverance, faith, hope, love, humility and patience. And they lead by example.

I couldn't have asked or hoped for better parents. I consider myself blessed to have been born into their household.

Yikes. Sounds like a life with no direction or purpose....And that's a recipe for misery in the long run.

Better get your act together. And fast. There's one thing in this world that you can't ever replace and that's time. Time is always of the essence and with it, your youth. Once your youth is gone, without experience or assets that you should've saved up during your youth, life can be very difficult and harsh.

Chances of living a happy and fulfilled life will be slim.
