If you dont care about story then i dont think Alan Wake is for you at all though American Nightmare has better gameplay but the story was ass to me They gave up Twin Peaks in favor of a random Twilight Zone episode :/ You dont need to play Alan Wake 1 but itll help saying you need to watch a LP at the least is weird.
