I know Twitch is still the go-to but I've heard YouTube is a surprisingly good option for people just starting out, ironically because there aren't as many people streaming there by comparison so it's easier to find an audience or for your streams to be found

So I'm thinking of possibly going that route but still would like some opinions

I'm not a big enough asshole to stream on Kick so that's not really an option

I think youtube might currently have the better income split but twitch probably has the bigger potential audience for livestreams. Or you could be a total scumbag and rake in the sweet, sweet gambling/crypto/alt right dosh and go with kick or however its spelled.

If you're absolutely new, use Restream to broadcast to both platforms. They won't care if you do this until you reach partner status.

This, unless you already have a big following or do something that really makes yourself stand out...in a bad way where viewers can make fun of you to feel superior like the NPC crap that is happening.

Its TOS at Affiliate
But otherwise correct

YouTube has a better rev split

YouTube is 70/30
Twitch is 50/50
Kick is 95/5

but i wouldnt do it for money...or views tbh. youll likely be disappointed
