In order to stop this, they put a time limit on how long you can work on a car. So if it's something simple like an oil change or brake light, no problem. But if you have to work on a car for more than 48 hours, that's when they nail you. But if it's being done in a closed garage, that means you have a neighbor that's ratting you out.
